This is a homebrew .elf file (kloader) loading the blackrhino and not the "official" Linux PS2 which was sold as a PS2 Game.

Anyway , just try it and let us know :) As i said earlier since i have no PS3 i cant tell you for sure. You know better.
even if the ps3 allowed for full USB 2.0 support, PS2 driver is for USB 1.1, so it'd still work on that slow speed

Yep thats true. The best way is re-writing the whole kloader for ps3

So did I understand right that everytime when I start my ps2 it will be ps2 firmware. And I have "install" linux everytime when I start my ps2. And I can still play my ps2 and ps1 games and watch dvds and so on?
