i dont't know if this is the right section but...

i know there are modchips for ps1 and ps2 and several other ways to use backups on those two consoles, but i want to know if a mod has ever been created for the japanese console PSX

I have never seen that one, is that...a SD card port?

Anyway, from the looks of it, it's a ps2, with a ton of stuff. I suppose free McBoot might work, and with the added drives, there might be another crack that a regular PS2 wouldn't have.

I would doubt that there is a mod chip, due to the high price, and I doubt the switch trick would work.

i think it's a shame that it was released only in japan (and with such high price!) even if it's only a pimped ps2 i'd love to have it now is a "collector's item" and it is useless out of japan because of japanese only xmb but if i only knew some hacking... XD
