It had a PSX port that came with a FInal Fantasy IV port in a double pack called Final Fantasy Chronicles. (Comically being the only one of the 3 PSX FF double pack port releases that had a non-FF game in it.)
The PSX version had cinematics for some key scenes, allowing more detail into them.

Even non-backwards compatible ps3s can play PSX discs, so its within the realm of acceptability, but, since this really has nothing to do with PS3s aside from that, off to Other Plaforms/Games it goes.

technically this isnt a thread for favorite psx(ps1) games...
my ps1 fav list is much much longer
also it should be (which ps1 games are you playing "now") not "know"

Not playing any right now... but after the Vita update that makes PS1 games compatible, I might buy FF VII. Finished twice already, but never did everything possible. (No Knights of the Round
)

Ah, Knights of the Round, one of 4 components of the easy button.
Master Knights of the Round (or Master Summon) linked to Master MP Absorb, and Master Final Attack linked to Master Phoenix.
I actually felt bad at how fast Ruby Weapon, Emerald Weapon, and Sephiroth fell to it.
