Come on, this is not a minimalistic design by any stretch. I would've at least use ClearType compatible fonts and made a wololo logo match the color palette. Jeez, you can't say it's minimalistic and have 4 colors mixed together.
I would love to get rid of the Wololo logo entirely - just keep the site name. It would look much better but according to the rules I HAVE to keep it there :/

Although it would be nice if I could have £10 PSN card code equivalent to $20 because I need to buy a certain game for testing, emulators are not exactly up my street. But, either way I don't mind. :)

(edit)
About the design. I also went for the minimalist design because it gives the revitalize competition a clean feel modern feel. I was inspired by the text on the vita which was similar to other products made by Sony; PS2, PSP, PS3 and the PS4.
I love that it is now possible to do real homebrew on the vita; however It is a shame I'll never experience what other people will. However, It still maybe entirely possible in the future.
Hope it goes a long way.

dont be discouraged with the rules. make that as a fuel for your creativity. Limitation is not limitation, it is a seed for uncharted ideas

Yes it does. It's a small one but looks smooth on the Vita (an OLED one).
My monitor has a LED screen so I suppose it will look good on the LED ones too.
