Re: Adventure Game Studio runtime engine port (3.21 R9)

Nevermind, I think I got the problem.

Please try this daily build: http://jjs.at/daily/AGS_for_PSP_2012-08-27_12-41-46.zip

It should be able to restore savegames. The issue only affected AGS 2.x games that is why I didn't notice in testing and why it doesn't happen with Backdoor Man.

Re: Adventure Game Studio runtime engine port (3.21 R9)

Nice job mate. :D Thanks ;) R9 messed up my savegames This doesn't sound good. Can you pick one game that shows the problem and do the following: - Load the faulty savegame and when the blue screen appears, press "X" to dump the information to the file "exception.log" in the AGS directory. Then pos...

I think this is the problem with the logo. Microsoft != Windows. They make a game console, games, phones, office applications, development tools etc. This variety is not reflected in the logo which displays the Windows flag. Bad logo imho.

Re: Adventure Game Studio runtime engine port (3.21 R9)

Update time! R9 brings more game compatibility because the memory footprint of the engine has been reduced considerably. There is about 12 MB more available RAM  in this version than in the last. Also new releases from the AGS scene: Ben Jordan Case 8, the final installment of the series (PSP...

Re: Learning Programming With C++ (II)

I don't quite agree with your description of the preprocessor. It does actually not check the syntax of the program and merely performs replacement on special tokens. It has no knowledge of the underlying language and will happily produce syntactically incorrect results.

Guys? Come on now...

Random youtuber uploads video of him playing Minecraft on his Vita right after the remote desktop app has been released. Connect the dots.

Re: Most popular programming languages Feb'2012

It also doesn't account for them if you take the graph for "most popular".

E: You know, I didn't want to start splitting hairs over this. Just wanted to point out that the data can be interpreted differently.

Re: Most popular programming languages Feb'2012

For me this list shows "most used" languages and not "most popular". The horizontal axis is "number of projects on github", which is obviously a measure of frequency of use. And the vertical axis is the "number of stack overflow tags", the more used a language the higher the questions about it. But ...
