Re: DNS Beats Proxy

thanks for the tutorial. Here are the commands for those with stock Ubuntu with restricted permissions (just added sudo in the beginning of lines that returned error on my system): sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y install apache2 dnsmasq sudo mkdir /var/www/update/ sudo mkdir /var/www/update/p...

Re: Proxying on Linux (or anything)

sorry for the late reply. try going straight to your computer, ie 192.168.1.2. Or from your actual proxy computer type in 127.0.0.1 and post what it says. On both proxy computer and Vita browser it says: It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but n...

Re: Proxying on Linux (or anything)

Thanks SMOKE, that did the job. I don't know if its just me but this tutorial is not noob friendly enough to do it without previous linux knowledge ;( Or just run sudo echo "127.0.0.1 fus01.psp2.update.playstation.net" >> /etc/hosts bash: /etc/hosts: Permission denied edit: I copied hosts file to de...

Re: Proxying on Linux (or anything)

Go to the server folder, which should be /srv/http/ or /var/www and add new folders so you can access /srv/http/update/psp2/list/us/ I can't write any files to this directory (no copy option available). I tried to change the folder properties but they are all gray out :( How I can change this defau...

Re: Is There Any Way To Get From 2.02 to 2.12 w/o a PS3?

Do you guys know what the minimum firmware required is for Fieldrunners? I have two Vitas, one at 2.11 and one at 3.00. I found that I can transfer content I downloaded on the 3.00 Vita to the 2.11 using OpenCMA. wait a second... As far as I understand your post this actually means that we don't re...

Re: [POLL] 6.60 TN-V4

I'm glad you are back TN. Keep up the good work. Voted yes in the poll, but I'd like to clarify what I meant with this vote: - TN-V with Highmem support - yes, please :) - new kernel exploit - it's not a best moment, imo - please consider waiting for PS4 related firmware update and major games relea...

Re: About possible techniques $ony can use to avoid exploits

Sony is smarter than you and I. You're thinking to complicated. It is perfectly possible for them to stop emulator exploits forever, but it would take developer time and money. Even though writing it wouldn't take more than a day. They did beef up vita security though. It is now impossible to explo...

Re: What will you do with VHBL? Chance to win a $20 PSN Code

I will update the firmware (I'm on 2.02 with UNO currently) so I could finally download games from my PSN+ account. I'm also interested in some recent PSN only indie games.
