Re: Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD Gets a Vita Release Date

It has nothing to do with the previous Oddworld games (different creatures, unrelated story at least for as far as I've gotten into this game) so you're not missing anything by not having played them. Plus it's a different genre than the other Oddworld games: http://www.gamespot.com/oddworld-strange...

Re: Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD Gets a Vita Release Date

Too bad I already bought it on PC and I'm about 4 hours in. I don't feel like starting over. Good game though, I recommend it to action and casual FPS fans (not the hardcore type that stresses over the feel and sound of weapons and the impact of bullets) and I'm a pretty jaded gamer.

Re: callin all final fantasy fans

Why would you recommend FF Tactics WOTL to him? They still have the PSX version of FFT on PSN for the same price as WOTL, because WOTL is a *** disgrace. The original FFT ran at 60fps whereas this joke of a revamp seems to run at 15 whenever you use an ability. I played it when I had my PSP and coul...

Re: The "how to NOT miss the next exploited game" thread

Is it still possible to get one of these games with a vulnerability now before 2.00 kicks in or have they patched every game already? I have 1.81 by the way, is urbanix the one i should be getting if it is indeed still vulnerable? I had MHFU and that worked great with VHbL for a while and then it st...

Re: VHBL crashes

Thanks, you saved me time and headaches as I read in a wololo post that 1.81 was THE ofw to be on if you had any interest in cfw but I suppose I missed the part where he says VHBL no longer works on MHFU. And I appreciate your effort in opening up a tab and googling "ape facepalm", copying the url a...

Re: VHBL crashes

I recently updated to 1.81 and STILL VHBL doesn't work for me. I reformatted the card, retained the old MHFU by saving it to my PC and then copying it back to the Vita, and then downloading 6.60 TN-C CFE CFW and nothing...the game freezes and it gives me the same error message as before, C1-2858-3. ...

Re: VHBL crashes

I did all that and still nothing. I read similar topics and some folks recommend reformatting the memory stick which correct me if I'm wrong but it's ludicrous as then how would I download MHFU again, seeing how I can't connect to the PSN without updating the Vita firmware to the latest version?

Re: VHBL crashes

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work on mine. My wifi was off by default but I turned on Airplane mode and still no dice. And yes, I have 1.80, good guess. I forgot to mention that. Thanks anyway!

VHBL crashes

Hi, I get a pink screen and an immediate black screen followed by error C1-2858-3 whenever I try to launch VHbL from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. It used to work fine before and I came back to it after a few weeks of not having touched my Vita to find this error. I wanted to run this CEF thing whic...

Re: Saving in Snes9xTYL

Thank you folks, I cannot remember whether I tried to copy over new roms, therefore deleting my save but I might very well have done so. I did try KitD17's tip about exiting through Snes9x rather than just swiping off MH and when I ran it again, the newly created save was still there. I suppose if I...
