Your friend update his psp so he made his choice.There is no meaning in purposely bricking cause it cant be bricked with hbl or signed homebrews,all have user access not kernel He can wait for the next update and pull the battery out before it finish but that would me meaningless also cause sony wil...

Before you buy a umd that will be uselles in yous psps condition,try to find out how the update via umd works. I mostly update through memory stick but i think that if you put a newer firmware game on a psp with autostart,it will not update immediately you will forced back to xmb where you must laun...

I have tested these 2 and work perfectly on my psp go
Resident Evil 2 [PAL] (Leon Disc) works but freeze when Leon enters the police station.
