Re: [REQUEST] Remote Play PS4 in vpk (app unofficial)

The proper way to go about this would most likely be to just make a homebrew alternative app. Given the plethora of available homebrew applications that do this already on other platforms it should be easy enough to get it going on Henkaku as well. That way you could work around all the firmware che...

Re: [Release] Patapon 2 VHBL installer (3.36)

From the sizes indicated in the ContentManager it does seem like there are invalid copies of the games still inside the ePSP storage area. The sizes in the System Category "Other" indicate a size very similiar to those of the base games. I suggest you add some kind of fallback handling code for the ...

Which firmware? Which Patapon Region? Which additional base game? Which Vita (Fat, Slim, TV)?
3.36, Patapon 2 US, Base Game = Uno & Warriors Orochi 2 (both with the same result), Fat.

Re: [RELEASE]PSPLink(not usb) 2.0 Final Fix for 6.60 (TN-V)

Vita has a bit of an issue with network configuration profiles, namely that one that by default there is none and the only way to connect to WIFI is to trigger the auto connect ability of the PSP firmware inside. There are several workarounds to this, so - either use the autoconnect profile number (...

Re: What is the best language to use for programming the Vit

From the official side (Sony) all you are allowed to use is C# (in the PSM SDK) or C/C++ (in the official Sony SDKs, at least those are the compilers it ships with). Using certain workarounds in combination with the official Sony SDK, you could in theory use any language that compiles into ARM ASM, ...

Re: Thoughts on Vita TV and CFW

Sadly the Vita TV isn't quite that interesting to me really. But thats mostly because I've built two gaming PC rigs, one nicely integrated into my living room wall and another in my office for work & private use alike. I can emulate more and more PSP games with every passing month thanks to the awes...

Re: PsVita Hacking FAQ

I know I will sound like a *** here but... What if Sony finds out I'm using it? They cant find out for now, but if they do your PSN account may be suspended. Sony does know you are using it, Sony has ways to detect it. And one faulty homebrew or crash is enough for them to figure out you use it, whi...
