You may want to go over to Rinnegatamantes github for this project and report the issues. That along with any data some core dump files may provide him. Those can be found via vita shell fairly easily. That data can help him track it down much quicker than him trying to reproduce the bug itself sin...

It turns out Chocolate Doom does not fully support FreeDoom , so be wary of savegame overflows and other limit-related bugs when playing it. You can always go into chocolate-doom.cfg and set vanilla_savegame_limits and vanilla_demo_limits to 0 to at the very least lessen the chance of savegame and ...

Is there a way to build what's in the github repo already? For me the game plays just fine, I would just like to have the ability to run Chex Quest without needing to change the filename.

It seems the Chocolate Doom used doesn't have full support for Chex Quest, as when I played 1, the game continued past the Caverns level where it is supposed to end.

Awesome to see a Doom engine other than PrBoom implemented! Unfortunately, it seems the FreeDoom wads are not supported, and I'm too broke to buy the actual wads. Disregard, if you change FreeDoom Phases 1 and 2's filenames to doom.wad and doom2.wad respectively, they load and run fine. Still would...

Great port, so far, though for some reason when you get a high score, you can't enter initials into the high score table. The button for selecting things on the menu doesn't work on the high score screen.
