yea ive been using BT5R3 for awhile im just tryin to find others that arnt so cluttered with tools that most people never use Can you remove those tools? If not, then there is really not that many distros that are not cluttered with unused tools lol Although that is my opinion since im inexperience...

As many people has said, C++ is pretty much the standarize language to develop the game engine. Then on top of that engine u can use a scripting language to create the logic of ur game. Or u could use C++ for that also!

Like the above post i also recommend starting with C or C++. I learned C++ from www.learncpp.com pretty good starting point.
From there it should be quite easy to pick up Objective-C.
