Re: Any way to actually "install" Vitamin's dumped updates?

My updates dumped fine :/ Just shove them into ux0:/patch and be done with it. My vitamin rips refuse to load ANYTHING out of the patch directory. When you put your patches in ux0:/patch they load for you? Does the version change on the livearea too? I tried to tweet to TheFlow but he never respond...

Re: Any way to actually "install" Vitamin's dumped updates?

hmmm sounds like that update isn't compatible as of yet. The same thing happens to me with digimon cyber sleuth. the game dumps fine, but the update does what you described. Better wait for this next compatibility update and then see what happens.

Re: Any way to actually "install" Vitamin's dumped updates?

The updates dump, install, and run just fine for me. The problem is since they technically weren't "installed" by the system, the system doesn't recognize them as being installed. mr.gas, any chance you would be willing to find a way to remedy this? If anyone could, you could! @HeroKing If you get e...

Re: Any way to actually "install" Vitamin's dumped updates?

Just install it like a vpk? you can't... I tried changing the extension to .vpk and installing it but it didn't patch the files. It replaced the game files in ux0:app...

Any way to actually "install" Vitamin's dumped updates?

So most of my games have dumped just fine but the annoying thing is the updates. I don't mind manually patching the updates, but it sucks that the version still says 1.00 on the livearea and you get popups when starting certain games asking you to update your game when you already did. I fixed it by...

Re: PS Vita Vitamin official version question

So how do you install the updates you dump from Vitamin? They literally serve no purpose as far as i can tell. Whether you patch the main ux0:app location manually or put it in the patch folder, it doesnt do anything at all. TheFlow's instructions said ux0:patch/YourGameName. What does that mean? Is...

Re: [Tutorial] Editing your app.db using Bubble Studio

So I'm curious what these unsolvable issues that prevent Bubble Studio from editing the startup gate are? Isn't the same entry responsible for both the bg0.png and the startup.png? Supposing they are in the same folder? Couldn't you just change the name of the uploaded images to their default values...

Re: PKG Installer mod wouldn't make it work again?

Possibly but i doubt it would work for installing full games or anything. If it could be reactivated like you said then it could possibly be used to install mods as update data. That might work. Don't quote me on that though.

Re: PS1 for Henkaku

Nothing that requires a kernel exploit is supported. No ps1 and no psp backups. However I doubt that will last long. This is literally the biggest deal in vita history so if any devs have private exploits hidden away somewhere, I'm sure one will get released eventually. One for psp and one for ps1. ...

Re: HENkaku Homebrew's wishlist

I would love to have a sort of designer studio type homebrew for changing icons natively. Directly from the device. Not for custom themes, but for manual icon changing. For Homebrew icons, startups, and backgrounds. Like RedSquirrel's gui but in homebrew form.
