Re: (after) linking: no sceModuleInfo section found

sceModuleInfo holds information such as the module name, and revision. It might hold the heap size as well, but I'm not too sure on that. D:

Re: how are libraries under USRDIR\modules\ handled?

You would have to decrypt the modules with PRXDecrypter :P

Re: how are libraries under USRDIR\modules\ handled?

the "~sce" header would be a compression header for that module.

The modules are basically like the DLLs of the main executable (EBOOT.BIN / BOOT.BIN). :P

Re: [GOOD / BAD] things updating ur PSP to OFW 6.61

[GOOD] 1. The web browser is not dependent on the firmware version. 2. RSS has been on the PSP since 2.60, which is also independent of the firmware version. 3. Qriocity no longer works, the app was built for 6.XX. 4. YouTube doesn't work on the PSP. [BAD] 1. OFW 6.61 (and all), do not support older...

Re: What are callbacks for?

They're used for calling back :D

Basically, when something happens (File read/write, screen flicker, etc) it'll report (callback) to the callback function.

The callback function would be anything from printing a message, checking the written file contents, add to a timer.

Re: [NEED DEVELOPERS]Demo with USBPSPCMDriver(2nd Release)

It's a shame that this is dead. :o USBPSPComm has been with the PSP for a very very long time, since 2004. It was originally going to be using the PS2 as a relay station, while two PSPs would connect directly to each other. But most game developers ended up using the PS2-PSP connectivity options to ...

Re: About utility modules

PSP_MODULE_NET_COMMON loads 'global' networking modules like ifhandle, pspnet. PSP_MODULE_NET_ADHOC loads 'adhoc' modules, pspnet_adhoc, pspnet_adhoc_auth, memab, pspnet_adhocctl PSP_MODULE_NET_INET loads 'inet' modules, pspnet_inet, pspnet_resolver, pspnet_apctl There's probably alot more to that, ...

Re: Wlan PSP link

You can find a tutorial for psplink wifi here . :P That's using an old build of PSPLink that uses the ancient "pspSdkLoadInetModules" on 1.5 (which required Kernel Mode) You could re-compile PSPLink that replaces that function with sceUtilityLoadNetModule (which does the same but for User mode) :mr...
