After nearly 4 months of playing cat and mouse, Sony finally brought the exploit titles, used to trigger the TN-V eCFW at firmware 3.01, back.

King of Pool, 101-in-1 Megamix, Fifa (Soccer) 2011/2012, Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks and Persona 2: Innocent Sins, to be specific, are now back at the PSN store and can be bought, redownloaded, etc.

A few days ago, Sony released the firmwares 3.10 and 3.12 which both fixed the vulnerabilities in the previous firmware, that allowed the execution of the TN-V eCFW via various exploit game titles.

Since kernel mode exploits are rare and scarce, it should be obvious that there won’t be a working TN-V eCFW release for said new firmwares anytime soon.

This brings us back to our old Half Byte Loader, which is indeed still working at firmware 3.10 & 3.12, as long as you own the right game from the right PSN store.

The PS Vita Slim (PCH-2000)

Some of you have already seen that there is a second hardware model of the PS Vita, the PS Vita Slim, or PS Vita 2000. It has a different display, a slightly changed design and another few additional changes.

The PS Vita 2000, like the PS Vita TV, is currently just available in the Asian regions of the world, and is not yet available in Europe or north America, but this could change very soon!

Don't want to update your PS Vita?

Don’t you hate that you need complicated Proxies, a second PS Vita or even a PS3 to get a game to your PS Vita which runs an older Firmware? It seems our user Crivonyx found a new way to download content to a PS Vita which sports an older Firmware. But how does it work?

There seems to be a lot of confusion when it comes to mods lately, there’s a lot going on and it can be quite daunting trying to follow it all, especially if you’re new to the scene. I hope that by writing this we can keep the forum flooding to a minimum. let’s try to understand what these mods are and what they aim to do, if only to get a better perspective.

I was a bit surprised when I read that wololo had announced the game and Sony didn’t remove the game. Considering the recent games, the fast they removed the game from the PSN, I think Sony has started to think a bit differently…
