After nearly 4 months of playing cat and mouse, Sony finally brought the exploit titles, used to trigger the TN-V eCFW at firmware 3.01, back.

King of Pool, 101-in-1 Megamix, Fifa (Soccer) 2011/2012, Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks and Persona 2: Innocent Sins, to be specific, are now back at the PSN store and can be bought, redownloaded, etc.

A new PS Vita firmware update is now available

The changelog of the new firmware is at the very end of the news!

Sony just released a new firmware update for the PS Vita, which fixes the TN-V kernel mode exploit and the usermode exploit titles for firmware 3.01.

This new firmware also fixes exploits in various undisclosed exploit titles.

Todays Playstation Store maintenance, which lasted approx. 5 hours, is done. To our surprise is the exploit title Persona 2: Innocent Sins still available at the PSN Store (In europe at least).

Since they could remove the game any second now, I thought that we inform you once again to get this game as soon as possible, if you are interested in exploiting the PS Vita firmware 3.01 (or earlier)!

A few hours ago, Sony told the world that they plan to do some maintenance work at their PSN. They plan to do said work on Monday the 10th March 2014, from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm (CET).

Most services won’t be available, like the PSN Store itself, the account settings, account creation, PS Home and various others. Various PSN-dependent apps like Maxdome, Facebook (PS Vita) and others should be usable, according to Sonys support team.

A few days ago we’ve told you about the latest exploit game for running the TN-V eCFW at your PS Vita: Fifa (Soccer) 2011 and 2012.
Even though it was planned to release the game at a weekend, like we usually do, we (well, the developer of it) had to rush it, because some, let’s call him jerk, jerk had to leak the name of the game and therefore pretty much f#cked up the release for everybody who was patiently waiting.

The PS Vita Slim (PCH-2000)

Some of you have already seen that there is a second hardware model of the PS Vita, the PS Vita Slim, or PS Vita 2000. It has a different display, a slightly changed design and another few additional changes.

The PS Vita 2000, like the PS Vita TV, is currently just available in the Asian regions of the world, and is not yet available in Europe or north America, but this could change very soon!

Running TN-V7 at a PS Vita Slim

While my colleague Acid_Snake is showing you 7 Days of Metal Gear, I am presenting you 7 Days of TN-V, in which we’ve reached the 7th revision of Total_Noobs TN-V eCFW.

After the promised TN-V4 kernel mode release, Total_Noob brought us even more revisions of his PS Vita eCFW, which now reached the status of TN-V7.

In TN-V7 he fixed various bugs and added another few awesome features, that every user of TN-V should really appreciate.

TN-V4 is now publicly available (for Firmwares up to 3.01) and Total_Noob is finally able to rest. Since he did the main job, programming his awesome eCFW, it is now up to us to help all the users that might have problems with some functions of TN-V4.

This exploit game got pulled too!

As I am writing this article, Sony is actively pulling the 101-in-1 Megamix exploit game from the various PlayStationNetwork stores (like it happened with nearly every exploit game so far).

The first game that got pulled was the japanese exploit game, wololo informed you about this, and it seems that Megamix is getting pulled right now too!

The ninja release is over and a lot of people bought the game 101-in-1 Megamix, which will be necessary for using the TN-V4 eCFW (and kernel exploit) at the PS Vita Firmware 3.01, but there seems to be a problem with the game itself, when you are using a non-japanese PSN account with an asian PS Vita. But what is this problem and where does it come from?
