Borderlands 2 Vita

Ever since Boarderlands 2 for Vita  was officially announced news concerning the development process of the handheld version died off and it became rather quiet around Borderlands. So quiet that people started to think the project was discontinued. That is until last month, when publisher 2K “erroneously” tweeted a release date for the game.

PS Vita piracy now possible?

After Yifan Lu’s great hardware reports about the PS Vita, its motherboard and its nand, our user Katsu found a way for dual booting the PS Vita, which can kind of be seen as a downgrade solution.

But that is not everything that he was able to do. Katsu is on fire and also looked at the Vita cartridges… see below for some more electronics joy!

The ninja release is over and a lot of people bought the game 101-in-1 Megamix, which will be necessary for using the TN-V4 eCFW (and kernel exploit) at the PS Vita Firmware 3.01, but there seems to be a problem with the game itself, when you are using a non-japanese PSN account with an asian PS Vita. But what is this problem and where does it come from?

So, made quite an ironic discovery, the mono team, responsible for making the .NET framework available on most devices and for bringing out its potential with things like Mono.Simd (hardware accelerated vector math) and Monogame, an open source port of the now abandoned XNA Framework has recently announced that they will also be bringing the framework to the PlayStation 4, the ironic part is that the .NET Framework is the most requested feature for the Xbox One and there are no details about whether it will be ported and considering that the .NET Framework is Microsoft’s baby and PlayStation is their direct competitor, it’s just sad (for Microsoft)

So far, this is only for PS4 developers so unlike PSM, the PS4 port will have access to the full power of the platform.

This has happened to me quite a few times, getting banned for system mods or cheating in a game offline. So now your console is banned from playing online, well it’s banned from playing on their servers. So if you know anything about tunneling you can still get back online with your system. It may on be on the big networks, but you still can get online an that is what really matters. This was real big with the old xbox, and I still use them to this day. There is a list of tunneling software I still like to use.

The PS4 launch day is pretty soon, and Sony promised to make the PS Vita compatible with the PS4, obviously via a Firmware Update. The very next PS Vita Update seems to be the PS4-Ready Firmware, which was rumoured to be Firmware 3.00. Some other rumoured features of this new firmware, let’s just call it firmware 3.00, are, that you will be able to transfer files via a Wifi connection between the PS Vita and a PS3 console, which would enable you to transfer files without the need of any cable.

Android, playing PSP games with the PPSSPP emulator. I’m going to jump right into it, you will either need a dual core or quad core processor in your phone. I would recommend that it is rooted and use CPU master app to make your device run at top speed to get the best results from the PSP emulator (PPSSPP) on your Android device.
