So, made quite an ironic discovery, the mono team, responsible for making the .NET framework available on most devices and for bringing out its potential with things like Mono.Simd (hardware accelerated vector math) and Monogame, an open source port of the now abandoned XNA Framework has recently announced that they will also be bringing the framework to the PlayStation 4, the ironic part is that the .NET Framework is the most requested feature for the Xbox One and there are no details about whether it will be ported and considering that the .NET Framework is Microsoft’s baby and PlayStation is their direct competitor, it’s just sad (for Microsoft)

So far, this is only for PS4 developers so unlike PSM, the PS4 port will have access to the full power of the platform.

This has happened to me quite a few times, getting banned for system mods or cheating in a game offline. So now your console is banned from playing online, well it’s banned from playing on their servers. So if you know anything about tunneling you can still get back online with your system. It may on be on the big networks, but you still can get online an that is what really matters. This was real big with the old xbox, and I still use them to this day. There is a list of tunneling software I still like to use.

After releasing version 1.3, dev $n!pR has released another update of his app PKG Toolkit GUI. This new update makes use of SCETool for ELF and SELF file decryption and encryption.

He has also added support for the latest CFW available (4.21, 4.30). Another of the new characteristics is the fact that you can now create Debug and Retail packages. It also automatically detects the TitleID of a package and also adds an extra tool called AllUnpkg.

It feels like the dev’s have decided to just smother us in new versions of their goodness today. In my last post I mentioned the E3 4.30 CFW, and in just mere hours there has been a new version of Rogero updated to 4.30, PS Tools, Yet another bypass (allowing PSN access) and a personal favorite;

Closely following the release of E3′s 4.30 CFW, Rogero has released his own. This seems to be a port of his 4.21 CFW to 4.30. This, like the last is a CEX CFW, so again, be sure to dehash your console.

Just hours ago E3 have released a Custom Firmware running on 4.30. There is little information around this at present, as there has not been a long enough time to test it out, however I personally believe it’ll be rather unstable, at least for a while.

The XBOX 360 vs. PS3 war has been going on since 2006 and the two electronics companies have always had their pros and cons. this made it a somewhat preference oriented battle between two systems that shaped the battlefield known as comment sections and forums.
