Over the past six weeks, Sony have been giving away free PSM games. For the entire week the games have been free, and finally the end is upon us. This week a game that I have been wishing for from the very beginning has become free, so if you have access to PSN via your Vita or any other Mobile Device, then you should definitely take the time to download it. The fourth week of Sony’s free PSM games per week is upon us. This time it brings us Aqua Kitty, which is quite easily the best game released under this promotion so far.
After my previous article many people were wondering whether the extended PSN maintenance would also bring some sort of stealth Firmware update and that Sony would be offering free games to entice people into upgrading from their Uno or previous exploits. Well, this was not the case.

It feels like the dev’s have decided to just smother us in new versions of their goodness today. In my last post I mentioned the E3 4.30 CFW, and in just mere hours there has been a new version of Rogero updated to 4.30, PS Tools, Yet another bypass (allowing PSN access) and a personal favorite;
Closely following the release of E3′s 4.30 CFW, Rogero has released his own. This seems to be a port of his 4.21 CFW to 4.30. This, like the last is a CEX CFW, so again, be sure to dehash your console.
Just hours ago E3 have released a Custom Firmware running on 4.30. There is little information around this at present, as there has not been a long enough time to test it out, however I personally believe it’ll be rather unstable, at least for a while.
I’ve just uploaded the first public alpha to the server. I’ve already found lots of bugs, but that was to be expected, and I made a promise not to program for the next 4 weeks !
I will run a last set of tests on my PSP tomorrow to make sure nothing prevents the game from actually running, then make an announcement on QJ’s forums. This means that if you’re reading this blog for some reason, you might be able to try the game before it is officially announced. How lucky are you ?
