psp2sdk binaries now available for download
Developer 173210 published the binaries for the Vita Scene SDK. This will ultimately let us develop homebrews for the PS Vita, through the rejuvenate hack announced by Yifan Lu, with a release right around the corner.
I’m happy to say that wololo.net is hosting the binaries, with automated updates straight from github. This means in theory that the download links will always have the latest and greatest version, unless I messed something up with the cache, of course.
How to use the SDK, tutorial, guides, etc… will come up in due time, I’m sure. We have a striving community, and the upcoming release should get everyone super excited to start writing cool homebrew for the PS Vita.

I need to know I’m On 3.51, PSM it’s on 1.00, should I update it?
Also should I get PAM SDK 1.20 or 2.00?
PSM SDK 1.21 if I’m not mistaken, and I don’t remember anyone mentioning anything about updating PSM runtime on the Vita.
The SDK doesn’t matter as we aren’t using Sonys SDK.
I think the PSM SDK on PC will install special drivers for communicating with the PSM Dev app on the Vita. Normally it will be listed under Jawbone devices on my system as PS Vita Type B, but when I start up the Dev app on the Vita it switches to a COM port called USB PSM Debug.

So would it be possible to make an emulator with this? I want to try and be able to port an snes emulator. Would love to port the PC version over :).
just port over psp version, it’s easier.
The psp version didn’t run perfectly. Hence the reason I want the PC version. Especially with the bigger memory pool of the vita. That could be fantastic.

I really hope Yifan will release soon. I’m pretty sure my dev license expires July 2nd and I don’t know if this rejuvenate is gonna need it.
We already know it isn’t going to need it. Don’t worry – Its already been confirmed by Yifan, confirmed in the /talk, and confirmed on the subreddit – it WONT need the dev license, just the app installed on the vita.

Well, the whole PSM Dev App is a bust. Email Verification could not be completed, and the 2 Apps that are required are not available on PSN anymore.

But even if the page was removed, I think you can just download it from the “Download list” menu.
The software appears there if you’re in the developer program anyway so…
God they have only been saying you should get the DEV app for like what? A month now? if you don’t have it/are just finding out about it now. You have no one to blame but yourself.

I wonder if Moonlight ( earlier called Limelight) will be possible on Vita with rejuvenate hack. I know it runs very well on Raspberry Pi, so why not on Vita.

It would be nice if developers could still port over the old PSPsdk homebrew to the PSVitasdk. Kinda miss lots of those games including Wagic.
I’m almost positive Wagic will be coming to the vita

They need to port quake dark places over to the vita there are alot of great mods for quake including halo and nazi zombies
