when I the music switches to the menu music the psp gets muted and can't be un muted until you reboot. The id3 tags are removed btw. Whats the deal?

Not sure I understand your question because it's lacking a verb and therefore doesn't make any kind of sense, but I'm guessing that there is a bug in how we handle themes: we probably change the music file while it's playing, which probably crashes the music thread. I'll have a look.
