Like I said days before I cant write a story.xml but i tried to.
When I tried to load it (with hbl r92) my PSP freezes.
You're missing the end balise </page> and </answer> in your first page... that's the reason why it's crashing... Here is the correct code for your first page.

Code: Select all

<page id="start">
<type>dialog</type>
<img>_gfx/shopkeeper.jpg</img>
<text>After you finally finished the Tutorial you will...</text>
<text>Oh no, whats that?</text>
<text>****, the Town is attacked by many strong Wizzards!</text>
<text>Please you must save us from Death!!!</text>
<answer goto="The_rescue">continue</answer>
</page>

That's a great campaign, jsut tryed it, love the graphics (obviously ;) ) ... + the first duel was somehow difficult (had a manshort but managed to win with only 3 mana in play... the AI doesn't really use very well the enchantment that give first strike... would replace this one if I where you)...

unfortunately I had a crash after the page "roil" not sure what the issue is.. I've looked at your story.xml but couldn't find the issue.

Your images are named ".JPG" and not ".jpg" (small caps) on PC it doesn't matter but this is known to crash/not load correctly on PSP. I just tested your campaign on my PC and not on my PSP yet... so not sure it would be an issue but to be on the safe side you could rename it to ".jpg".

Finally I would say all this campaign (including the mirrodin wars) should be put into separate thread/forum (i'm gonna create one right away)... so please post your campaign in separate thread... would be easier for the users to see directly what is available.

Well that's exciting to see all this user submission... I should go foreward with my own campaign...

You have to unzip the folder in this rar file to

One thing that's seriously bugging me about the campaign mode that at some point in a campaign it either has a memory leak or doesen't clear memory cache/cache in general because it' starts to lag INSANELY on an overclocked PSP Slim (happens on both default speed and overclocked speed I might add), I have no idea what it is but everything just starts moving slow, the card thumnails start getting little flickering dots moving around over them and it's just a real pain.

Exit the campaign, restart your psp (going back to menu doesen't do the trick, you got to close WTH in total) and it'll run smoothly again on the exact same part of the campaign.

It's not an overload of cards in one duel or whatever just randomly happens after a while.

Might be something for someone (wololo i assume) to look into :)

I've noticed that too. There's probably a memory leak somewhere, will be hard to find

Figured it was a memory leak, just wanted to make sure I wasen't the only one with the problem (meaning you knew about it aswell :P). Well hope you'll be able to find it, it'll be a though one.

I have seem to run into a significant problem.

I am a writer at heart, so I have begun to create an extensive story mode with a completely new plot-line. Of course there are quite a few pages of dialogue and description. I'm not entirely sure what I've done wrong if anything but it seems to me that possibly my story.xml file has grown to be large enough to cause wagic to crash. I can no longer progress with my story from my current location because no matter what commands I enter the game will crash upon testing. I have tried quite a few different methods to continue including creating a blank page, or a simple page to see if the game would progress, but still it crashes.

Is this a common problem? Or is it unknown?

I would be ok with someone taking a look at the campaign however I don't want to post it just yet as its still a work in progress. :)

Please send me your campaign by email or PM, I will check it.
Are you running on your PSP or on a PC? The PSP's limited Ram might be the culprit here, but hopefully it's something else that we can easily fix
