I have decided to start a consolidated Topic for all my sets and stuff that I have and will be creating in the future. Feel free to post any bugs you find in them here and I will fix asap. Most of my sets I create will be based on the Warlord: Saga of the Storm card game. I use to play this alot and am a big fan of it. Too bad it died in my area. :cry:

Sets

if I fail to add instructions on how to add my sets to your game. It's really simple.
  • 1. Unrar/zip the files inside
    2. Put the folder inside into the Sets folder
    3. Put the txt file inside into the primitives folder in the Sets folder
    4. Play game and hope to unlock the goodness that you have just added ASAP!

Rules Formats

  • 1. Unrar/zip the files inside
    2. Put the .txt file inside into the Rules folder
    3. Format Should Appear in Menu. So Play it!

Players Draw Until they have 8 cards in hand during their Draw Phase. Players may play any number of land per turn. When a Player plays a Land they draw a card.

This is finally back up with all the unsupported official planeswalkers through Theros. I do use workarounds to make the abilities that are not supported work, and if I can not make their ability work as printed I try to make a similar ability in order to make them still playable. Just check the non image coded card text to see revisions. Special thanks to Sandman423 for helping with Liliana of the Veil's last ability. Enjoy!!

Included are the three Eldrazi themed cards that are not supported in Wagic currently. All cards work according to the coded card text so check that for abilities that may have been modded. Enjoy!

Included are all the Madness Cards except Muck Drubb as I have no ideas for changing retargeting of a spell (May do it as fizzle and copy the original spell). This now no longer uses a token workaround. When the card is discarded it will bring up a prompt to tell you the mana cost and ask if you want to pay it. Pretty straight forward as its pretty close to the way madness must work except for the whole hitting the graveyard thing, nothing I can do about that as far as I know. Enjoy!!

For those of you who follow this topic and have decided to get my Custom Wagic I will be accepting bug reports and card requests in this topic. Thanks to those who have joined and if people are interested in my wagic they just need to pm me for instructions and details. A lot of hard work was put into wagic over the years and I hate for that to end as the devs move on to other projects. I am not the greatest at coding and can pretty much only mod code but I have tried to continue what is a great game. So thanks to all the people who have worked on this game in the past and to those who will help to continue its future.

Thanks I appreciate it. Hopefully in the near Future I will get time to code the next set. I just have a lot of other projects im trying to get out of the way first.

a couple of cards codes have name='the name.....remove the " ' "after the "="....for basalt golem restriction=type(cleric|mybattlefield)~morethan~0
for

other then that this is the best example of making a complete set that i have seen so far, nice work...
did you find most of the complex abilities by checking out the mtg.txt?
also want to add, amazing job translating the game into mtg, warlords is super complex and you have done a wonder job at converting.

edit...i see why you added the comma...becuase mtg also has cards of the same name.

we should sticky this really, so it doesn't get buried in the forum

Yes I did a lot of searching the MTG.txt to find similar card abilities to help with the coding. It was hard at first but once i got the hang of it it went smoothly. I'll check the cards you mentioned. I dont think this will get buried in the Forum since I have around 15 more sets to make i think just for Warlord. Was thinking of a Lord of the Rings one too but i see there is one on here already. Though that was never uploaded I dont think and it doesnt seem to resemble the LOTR TCG at all. Was thinking of making it a tribal type theme for it. But that will be after the Warlord sets are complete.

Ya if MTG has a card of the same name and i dont think its a good conversion I will create a new card with the same name but add a ( ' ) in front so I don't take away anything from the spirit of the original game.

Thanks for the comments. I will post when i make the card changes and the upload the fixed sets.

Oh was gonna ask about something. One of the original things i was doing in these sets was involving Tri-color Mana symbols. But i found out that the game did not support them. I know that MTG does not currently use Tri-Mana however I thought it would be a nice addition to the Wagic Engine simply for people who create sets and want to add a little something different to there game. Problem is that the code would only detect the first two colors and the third would not be added. It seems like an easy addition but I wouldn't know if that is true. I am just suggesting it as an add to enhance the capabilities of the the game.

Both of those cards are from Assassin's Strike and have been updated.
