I have request - wololo could You make bigger "circle" using to change phase? It's little bit too small... And it's frustrating when I try to aim to push it but I missing him.

Thank You all programers for Your work!!! Now I can play in rpg card games on my phone! Now I'm looking for some cool mods (Knights... don't looks to be good). THANK YOU and it's amazing! Make donation button ;-)

I do agree however that making the circle bigger would help. Sometimes its easier for me to touch the circle than sweep my finger up (It drives me crazy for it to flip through 10+ card images every phase change) but sometimes it just doesn't want to detect my touch there. I find its a lot harder too when you have a lot of creatures attacking. Maybe the margin for attacking creatures should be moved over.

@xojlmc I think that would be more of a general Wagic suggestion, not an android suggestion because this happens on all versions of Wagic (I've noticed it before but its never been bad enough to write a post about it. Only caused a major problem once in 500+ games).

Hello, I have been using wagic 0.16.0 and eveeything seems to be working well. Alot of images dobt work and not sure why, I have them in zipped folders in each of the sets in the sets folder. but i was wondering mainly how to look at the set spoilers within the trophy room? I been trying to scroll and now matter how gently i scroll it just scrolls rapidly. I was trying to look at the spoiler of innistrad and everytime I Got to it and tried to click on it it scrolls fast to the bottom or through to the.top. was juat wondering how to efficiently do this? maybe asking alot and not sure if their is an efficient way to do it because i know that this is in its very early stages, but just thought i would ask.

thank you in advance.

PS: i deleted my psp button configuration before trying all this, to make surw their was not interfierence. and sorry for the typos and fail of grammer, on break at work and am using my phone to type this lol. once again thank you in advance.

Are you pictures in compressed zips? If so you will have to unzip them, and rezip them yourself and make sure you change the compression mode to "none" or "store only".

I think the scrolling has been addressed before, but I'm going to go back through the posts to make sure. If not, thanks for bringing it up. Basically that currently happens in any menu with a scroll bar (Keybindings/Trophy Room). They will have to slow down the scroll speed when touching the screen if we are going to be able to use it.

Update:

In the Trophy Room, every time I tap/touch a card, the whole thing is either scrolling up or down.

And it'd be great if there's an HD version of Wagic for tablet users :)

Yep, knew it sounded familiar. But it was never addressed, so thanks for bringing it back up again. I will say that it is a pain trying to modify/remove keybindings right now. I had to map a button to PSP's square and it took like five minutes.

We fixed that issue here: http://code.google.com/p/wagic/source/detail?r=3895

Note however that I have currently no plan to re-distribute an alpha to all the people who requested it, nor do I plan to update the file until we are ready for the release.

Ok, thank you for the info you two, I was just wondering. I just got the new innistrad files form the new post and was testing to see if more than just abbey griffin would show up now, but was not able to due to the scrolling. :)

Nor would I expect you to wololo. That would just get ridiculous with all the people who have and want it if you kept having to message us after each fix. Its not like this build is unstable. I think I'm the only one who has encountered a major problem and we were able to stop that.

I just realized the profile thing was never addressed. This must be an android problem because profiles are working on my computer. I didnt really affect me until now because Im trying to create a master file with different profiles for each system.

It's one of the things we fixed recently too, so the android version has the problem, but the latest SVN version does not

Hey. I got a new phone captivate galaxy s att branded version. Using cm7. Got it running but it only runes in portrait mode. It wont turn to landscape mode when I turn my phone. This a bug or just not implemented? For me to be able to play I would need to be able to flip it. Way too small in portrait l.

Nevermind. I guess my autorotate was turned off. Works great now.

Today I finally had the chance to test Wagic on my device, but now i'm quite dissapointed because it ran very slow, what's the recommended hardware to run it well?

Also it was difficult to hit some buttons, but I think it's somewhat related with the screen of my phone (it isn't very responsive making it hard to play almost every game).

I tested on Xperia X10 with custom Android 2.3.3

Anyways keep the good work, it is amazing to have Wagic running in my pocket.

I have a Desire HD, Wagic runs faster than on my PSP with this hardware (which, granted, has a second generation of CPU with additional boosts, while your CPU is a first generation, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon ... ifications ).

The Xperia X10 is "fairly" old, but Wagic is designed to run ok on a PSP, a device created 6 years ago which runs at 333MhZ and has 24MB of Ram. Your phone beats that, except maybe the PSP GPU might be better handled by Wagic.

Just to disarm the most likely cause for slowness: are you playing with card images, and if so, can you try playing without them? If removing images solves your problem, you then need to make sure you are using images adapted to your phone's specifications. I've seen "android dedicated" image packages that are great for highend phones or tablets, but would have your phone choke. Try these performance tips, what's valid for the PSP is also valid for your phone: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3138

It is also possible that your phone doesn't have 3D acceleration, in which case we can't help much. Wagic relies on SDL which uses OpenGL. If your phone doesn't have openGL support, lots of 3D games will be slow with it, not only Wagic.

Edit: also, this might come as a shock, but Wagic runs way smoother on a computer with 2Ghz than on a PSP. You should compare the experience on your phone with that of the PSP. If the only experience you have is on a highend computer, then yes, it will feel slower on your phone.
