Latest SVN build hangs in PSP XMB...help?

I have followed to the letter the directions for building for windows. I tested it and it works perfectly.
I rebuilt for the psp following directions to a 'T'. I then moved the files as well as the eboot to psp/game directory. When trying to test, it hangs on trying to load the background. It doesn't allow me to load the game nor does it allow me to move to any other homebrew choice on my memory stick.
Could someone help me to work this out? I do believe that I have done everything properly.

I presume you have the GEN firmware. If so, just be patient - it takes forever, but it should run eventually - that's what I'm experiencing.

I had this same problem using GEN, if anyone has a fix that'd be nice.

Yeah, I have the GEN firmware. I have been playing 0.9.1 official release and it doesn't take very long to load and play. The build I made, however, never does load the background image and never lets me get into the game. I have let it set for upwards of 2 minutes with no load of image or game.

could it be optimizations? svn is compiled with that...

I think the slow loading appeared before using the optimization. Not sure though - but a forum search should yield the answer.

You're right. Forum search came up with nothing. Its something to do with the res folder...
Eboot alone yeilds no issues... This is *** me off!

I tried this again today and found that it doesn't load the background image as long as it is highlighted. I can move to other homebrew on my stick AS LONG AS I don't press X to try to load. That's when I get the hang and it never loads. Is it the same for you guys?

Not for me. I get long delay (but not hang) as soon as I hover over the icon, unable to run anything for some time.
