A seemingly little thing that would add a lot - the ability to see how many of a card in the shop you have in your collection.

my big three requests (resounds others)

1. functioning counterspells (all) i think there is finally a handle on it......
2. ability to search library, many cards use this to different functions...
3. higher collection limit (5000-6000??).... after using the Large card set d/l my database is 3214 cards

as always thanks for the clone, and i also saw someone did copy artifact and sculpting steel..... i bet the imprint function would be another fun ability to impliment....

Sleep mode not crashing!

I'm annoyed enough by this that I'm actually trying to do something about it, but I can't tell if it's a Wagic bug or a JGE bug because I can't figure out JGE yet :-(. Is there some JGE resource I'm missing? That'd make things a lot easier than trying to work in a vacuum. The old version had samples, if I remember right... where are those?

It would be awesome if someone looked into that bug.
It's a JGE bug.
Samples for JGE can be found in the official (but outdated) JGE svn:
http://code.google.com/p/jge/
Just take the samples and test them with the Wagic library.

I believe the basic "Hello World" sample would be enough to test this. If the JGE Hello world doesn't crash in sleep mode, then we can discuss the differences that Wagic brings.
I haven't looked into it yet, but it might be more complicated than I expected (as you've seen apparently ;) ):

Haha, yeah, I was just worried because I'd heard somewhere that the whole sleep crash was an unavoidable 1.50 error. After doing a little testing it seems obvious that this is not the case for Wagic, which at any rate runs in 3xx just fine. The 1.50 homebrew I have all crash in the same way, where the LED flickers once after sleeping and then the PSP is rebooted upon being awakened. Wagic gives me a wildly flashing green light. Also of note is that Wagic crashes just as hard if I try to turn the PSP off from within the game as if I try to sleep it.

I built the HelloWorld JGE sample with some changes to the makefile, but there were further errors (black screen, then PSP turns off), and I'm sleepy, so I'll get back to work tomorrow. Just thought I'd mention the above, in case it helps any.

Has JLBFont::SetColor undergone a major change since you took over JGE, like in what arguments are valid or something? Because if not, I'm almost sure it's broken. Causes some kind of bus error in JQuad::SetColor. Just a note.

So good/bad/indifferent news - the power switch meltdown is not unique to Wagic, since the HelloWorld app also crashes in the exact same way. Tomorrow I'll try to run down exactly why.

I guess if it were broken, we'd have obvious problems, since we use it a lot (card text, etc...)
Maybe it changed between JGE 0.2 and JGE 1.0; and some of the tutorials haven't been updated?
Not sure really... :|

This isnt absolutely necessary, but something that I would like personally. Others may as well.

I would prefer if the main select button was set to X instead of O on the main screens, etc. I know that the Japanese psps use O as there select button, but American (and I am pretty sure European/any English) psps use X. Even having played Wagic for awhile now, it still throws me off since it is not natural for me.

Now I know the concern with not having to reprogram for just that X, but maybe a way to allow either X or O to be used on the main screen as select, since you have to hit start to leave most menus anyway?

Yeah, having that as an option in the settings menu should not be to difficult to realize and would make the program more attracting to non Japanese PSP users...
