Wagic 0.17.1 - Cards in hand have no image

I've just installed Wagic 0.17.1. Then i copied the player, setting & profile folders from the previous Wagic 0.16 into the Wagic 0.17.1 'User' folder. When i started the game, there were no images for most of the cards in my hand, but the card preview images worked just fine (preview images work fine for all expansion so far). However, cards in my hand from certain expansions did have their images (eg: M11, MBS, etc..). I'm not sure why it happened. Can anyone help me on this. Thanks in advance.

I'm having similar problems; I run wagic on pc with high quality images, and in 0.16 i had no problems at all, but in 0.17.1 card images seem to have all kinds of issues.

If i use old style image zips (m10.zip, m11.zip ,etc) the card previews of your hand cards (right side of the screen) are missing. If you select the card so a magnified version comes up on the right side, the magnified version shows a correct card image.
If i dump all the cards into 1 big zip (the image.zip method) a weird thing happens: All sets alphabetically above MBS work, and all below do not. My images.zip is 4 GB (high quality images!), and since the MBS images seem to be about halfway in this file i have the feeling that there's a 2 GB limitation on this images.zip file that wagic can reconise, and all cards stored above the 2 gb mark cannot be read. Or maybe i'm completely wrong
The only thing that seems to work so far is to just unpack all the jpegs and not use zips at all; i have had no problems this way (except having 41000 jpegs on my disk).

There are two main changes in Wagic 0.17:
- one is that card images identified by their names (such as "Air elemental.jpg") do not work anymore. However I think I was the only one using that. Most packages I've seen use the ID which is stil working
- the second is that we don't support the "deflate" compression methods anymore. Your zip files have to be in the "stored" format. If you've used image packs from this forums, I've seen several packs that are compressed when they shouldn't be. This affect performance on the PSP very badly and is the main reason I deprecated this support.

Solution: decompress your image packs, then put them in a zip again, make sure that the compression level is set to "STORE" and nothing else. All good zip archivers have this option.

hey...it works Wololo! i didn't know that most of the previous images are not set to 'STORE'. thank you very much..

Great. Hopefully the good guys who made card packages will update their work if it needs to.

I also want to emphasize that it is now possible to have ALL your images in one single zip, by putting the sets zips inside a zip. To be clearer:

I have an archive named sets.zip, which I put in the Res folder. sets.zip contains the following things:
Res/sets.zip/sets/10E/10E.zip
Res/sets.zip/sets/2ED/2ED.zip
Res/sets.zip/sets/ZEN/ZEN.zip

Not sure if I'm clear, it's basically exactly the same structure as you've always known, except I have one zip containing the 100 sets' zips, which makes it much easier to copy.

Another victory here; repacking the zips without any compression fixed all of my problems. Wololo, you're the man!

:edit: Hmm, i still seem to get the 2GB images.zip problem (?) i talked about in my last post, even when i create the zip the way you describe it.
