I think it is an old issue, but:

Moat allows creatures to attack if they have an effect that states that they cannot attack unless a certain condition is met ( opponet must controal an island, you must controal another [creature type], ect..]

Can this work-around be done? kk, ill start looking :D Well, looked through the gatherer for counter is placed, only got Flourishing defenses, then looked for all entries containing the words -1/-1 counter, nothing, then looked through all +1/+1 counter entries, and zilch. So I guess Flourishing Defenses is so far unique :( Off ...

gotcha, yea its a choice, i had set aside the card from my deck and didn't re-read it before posting, sorry, and thanks, i think i will code it in for random just so i can have it in the deck.

How to code tap: opponet discard.

There are a good number of cards that use this mechanic, but I haven't been able to find any of them in wagic:
Tap: opponet discards a card at random. This can only be used at any time you can cast a sorcery.
