Re: Tri-Color Mana

One of the original things i was doing in my created sets was involving Tri-color Mana symbols. But i found out that the game did not support them. II thought it would be a nice addition to the Wagic Engine simply for people who create sets and want to add a little something different to there game...

Re: Android and iOS UI Improvement Suggestion

Yes. As a reminder the deck editor and the shop were not our priority so far because our initial goal for the Wagic/ios ports was to build a game not using any deck editor or shop (believe it or not, for legal reasons). I'm with Mike on this one, that onscreen buttons will probably be the solution ...

Re: Android and iOS UI Improvement Suggestion

I have read the guide you posted on the googlecode wiki page about the iOS controls. But It seems most of these double wipe up or 2 finger are not working on Android. For example there is no way (unless mapping a button to the menu button) to sell cards, or toggle cards images. Or looking at the st...

Re: How about a turn counter?

With challenges often requiring you to keep your opponent alive for X number of turns before landing the final blow, a way to see how many turns have elapsed would be quite welcome! There is one. When you bring up the menu it's part of the display on top. If you mean to have displayed all the time,...

Djardin wrote:On Android, and it should now be the same on iOS, you can switch between your deck and your card library by swiping left and right. You can change color by swiping up/down.
Not in the current build on this forum. My daily build is much better. I'll have wololo post an update soon.

Re: Android and iOS UI Improvement Suggestion

I hope so. :-) All-in-all, though, I'm thoroughly impressed with what you have achieved. I'm eager to see what comes out of this touch interface additions. I'm gonna continue working on the functionality of the cards, so the "working" sets cover a wider range. Do you know any way I can view my deck...

Re: Android and iOS UI Improvement Suggestion

The simple answer to your question is "sure, anything is possible. It's just a matter of programming" :) The real question is whether one is really necessary for the game to run. One important rule of UI design is to minimize the number of "administrative" elements and maximize content. You want to...

Re: Android and iOS UI Improvement Suggestion

This is a question I've asked the Devs, but since their workload is prolly a little hectic; I figured some forumer's wouldn't mind brainstorming it. ;-) So, I recently downloaded the android beta and iOS beta releases of Wagic (0.17). Obviously, we're aware of the button binding issues associated w...

Re: [FAQ] Wagic's Folder structure - how to add cards, image

for the iOS port: everything will reside in the Documents folder of the app accessible through iTunes. The folder structure will correspond with the "Res" vs "User" structure. Due to the nature of iOS, you can only supply files to the Documents folder. Thus, you can not add files to "Res" or "User"...

Re: Android compilation error r4104

No I think I made a mistake in the ifdef if that is the case. Perhaps we change it to the following: that way the callback is using the current Android signature. The iOS signature for SendCommand was newly introduced. I don't want to merge the two until there is a need. I'm currently on r4110 and t...
