Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

Putting cards to the bottom of library is a targeted ability at the moment. Without having an untargeted version like "deplete", it is going to be a nightmare for revealing and dumping cards to the bottom. I think it is best to leave this as a KIV until the actual Reveal mechanic is committed to the...

Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

Same as how you reverted back originally, using SVN to revert back to r4876 so that the green check appears again. When playing with new code or patches, this is very important to ensure that you are not accidentally mixing up chunks from different patches/changes together into one big mess. I have ...

Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

In AllAbilities.cpp, around that line 1150 there should be a line that says int findPayN = isFake->named.find( " n mana" ); Change it to size_t findPayN = isFake->named.find( " n mana" ); and hopefully that should solve the problem. Alternatively, just revert back to the SVN and just use the Bestow,...

Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

You can try the advice I gave earlier and see if it works. If you have compiler errors, please quote the entire line here because I have no idea what your source files look like. The most likely guess is that you applied the "Fizzle unless pay x" patch and the error is with this line: if ( isFake &&...

Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

As stated before, you can install any/all of the three patches. The red exclamation appears after patching because you have made changes to the source (ie. the installed patch). If you can compile a CLEAN (green arrow) version of the SVN without errors, installing these patch(s) on said clean versio...

Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

If I remember correctly, Bestow, Scry and Devotion are all stand alone patches so you do not need them together.

Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

The red exclamation means that you have file(s) that are different from those in the repository. I would advise for you to do a clean install (green arrow on project) by "revert"ing to r4876 which will change those different file(s) back to the "official" version. After you have a clean install, you...

Re: [CODE] Reveal and Scry

Any effect that "target()"s the library will force a shuffle immediately after the target is selected which is why I use so many "all()"s and "moveto"s. I only use targeting of the library directly as a last resort to avoid this extra shuffle. The annoying use of "any number of blah", "may choose a ...

Re: [CODE] Counterspell to zone

As far as I know, my existing patches are fully compatible with the latest SVN release (r4876) other than my own "Fizzle to zone" patch for obvious reasons so they can be applied directly. Hopefully they can be committed soon as there are literally dozens are cards that can be added with those new m...
