No, it definitely worked in 10.1, if you cast it in response to a spell it let you target the spell and window would pop up with an option for "fizzle", and if you select "fizzle" the spell was countered. In 12.1 it doesn't let you target the spell.

Mystic Snake's countering ability doesn't work for me anymore. It worked for me in 10.1.

The AI had 4 Black Vices (not Lotuses, sorry lol) in play and he cast Wheel of Fortune, so I had to cast Mind Twist on myself on my next turn to prevent myself from losing the following turn. He just let his Will-o-wisp go to the graveyard even though he had untapped swamps. Did the changes in the way damage is assigned break the AI's ability to regenerate?
