Now, before you click to read, believe it or not this isn’t and never was a kickstarter project. I recently came across something called Sugru, It’s a special compound silicone that……. nevermind. It’s blu-tac that dries 
PS Vita’s Firmware 2.10 was recently released, and we already know that Sony blocked the Apache Overkill VHBL, but this update comes with quite a few hidden surprises called “stability improvements” 
So it seems the majority of you lot voted that you’ll update. I guess thats the decision made then. Bye Kernel!!!
I have decided to start up a once a month series called ‘Trololo talks’, it will be about things in games like ‘clichés’ and ‘pet peeves’ in games. mirroring this article a topic will be opened on the /talk forums, where the Wololo members can discuss their favourite gaming clichés!
As you’ve guessed, my blog posts are a bit different than others, they’re……… Unique.
At the moment I’m at my Aunts house with my family bored as hell (my Vita’s out of battery! 
) and I’m waiting for the Chinese take-out so I’m doing a blog post to (hopefully) pass a bit of time, and entertain you, of course!

So instead of me doing another article on the OUYA. I found a different small home console to do one on, it is a bit bigger this time, in pretty much everything, size, specs and definitely price!
In a previous article, I claimed that modern consoles can probably only be hacked by companies, or more generally by people who can invest a relevant amount of money into R&D, then expect a significant return on investment.
Some people contacted me to ask if this is why some hackers in the PSP/Vita/PS3 scene request donations for their work. After seeing a few similar questions in my mail box, I concluded that a clarification was needed: When I said the people behind the hacks expect a return on investment, I did not mean the couple hundred bucks that a “donate” button would typically give a hobbyist hacker on the PSP scene. I meant thousands of dollars, possibly hundreds of thousands, actually.

I’m sure many of you are currently enjoying your Vita Consoles with all the exploits we have been lucky enough to receive over the past year. We have been lucky enough to be given the ability to play all the classic games through VHBL, and more recently the ability to play PSP games through CEF. If you wish to know exactly what exploits are currently available, please read this article by Rashidsonic.
Some of you might remember the gigantic hack of Sony’s Playstation Network back in 2011 (which was apparently some form of retaliation soon after Sony announced they would sue PS3 hacker George Hotz). Ars Technica revealed a few days ago that the UK government fined Sony about $395,000 for their poor handling of that massive data leak.
Many of you contacted me about it, the Playstation Network has been down for a while in several locales.

I have a tendency to minimize the impact of the scene on the actual gaming world. You’ll even see me saying that less than 5% of psp users are using a CFW, but once in a while, the industry confirms that we have a significant impact. Today Sony published their numbers for the most sold games on the PSN, and the numero uno in the PSP category is a familiar name

2013 is coming, the PS3 is not getting any younger, and rumors on the PS4 are increasing. Some people were expecting an announcement at the Tokyo Game Show this year, but that didn’t happen, so we’re now all looking toward E3 2013 for some sort of public announcement from Sony themselves.
I was discussing with a source close to Sony’s game division, and we were commenting on some random article on the web that claimed the PS4 kept changing names. As far as I can tell, there as always been only 2 somewhat “official” names for the PS4: PS4, or Orbis.
This led my source to explain the PS4 would probably not actually be named the PS4.
