After receiving my $20 PSN card from Sony for no apparent reason, spending it all, and then find a sweet deal on the ratchet and clank collection US store, I was determined to get some more credit to buy the collection. I wasn’t sure how to though. So after some research, I found a few websites like the ones I have listed below and will be showing you what I found!

Hey everybody, it’s week 2 of my news summary, and if you haven’t realized I’ve decided to re-name it. It’s a bit better, don’t you think? Anyway, on the topic. This week lots happened. Xbox announced the reveal of their next gen console, there’s a new colour controller coming to US, Amazon lists Fifa 14 for the Vita, and here’s the fun one. A 90 year old had a go on the Oculus Rift!

You might remember the psp2ps3 tools, and all the excitement a few weeks ago around a recent hack breakthrough that allows people to run psp isos (and, potentially, homebrews) on a hacked PS3, by “camouflaging” the game inside a PSP Mini.

Although people believed this trick was reserved to PS3s running a Custom Firmware, this might become an incorrect statement very soon…

Just like my other article for the US Store, another excellent sale is on the way, if you can’t read the picture right next to this text, it is called ‘Lost Treasures Sale’ on sale are games that have gone into the depths of the playstation store, and have been forgotten about, so to speak. We mentioned yesterday the ongoing insane progress on the PS3 scene to get PSP games and homebrews to run on PS3 CFW. PS3Hax member szczuru released yesterday an update of his tools suite (to version 1.7.3) that helps with the process of packaging your PSP games to run on the PS3.

pspps3Just a few weeks after unlocking essential secrets to PS2 emulation, the PS3 scene has been super active again for the past few days, after initial announcement from developer zecoxao on ps3hax that psp games (and potentially homebrews) could run on the PS3. Zecoxao discussed the idea that potentially any psp game could be injected into regular psp mini games to run on the ps3 (basically using a ps3 compatible mini game as a “disguise” for running other psp games or homeberew); which was quickly followed by proof of concept code, itself followed by fully usable tool suites to run “any” psp game on a PS3.

As you’ve guessed, my blog posts are a bit different than others, they’re……… Unique.
At the moment I’m at my Aunts house with my family bored as hell (my Vita’s out of battery! :( ) and I’m waiting for the Chinese take-out so I’m doing a blog post to (hopefully) pass a bit of time, and entertain you, of course!
