So what was changed? usually by now the hackers have ripped apart the updates and tell us what was changed and fixed or updated. Anything in this latest firmware changed?

What im reading here is there is a hack that works on the latest firmware. So where is it?
Ive been following the scene but i mustve missed the day the cfw loader was released?

I wouldn’t bother with anything unless you are a dev, they are making great progress but nothinig is really that stable yet.

        Thanks for this clarification.
I spent a lot of time on GBATEMP without figuring out how to simply install retroarch on a 4.0.1 NS… Ham no gud inuf.

I guess I’ll simply wait, like everyone else.

So which HBL should we use if we have 5.1? Mine auto updated and my old HBL is no longer working.

    Owned at boot.

There is nothing to see here, nor will there ever be anything to see here. The switch is owned at boot level.

    There is nothing!
Nothing at all Nintendo can do with switches in the wild.
They are accessible now in all new stock and will be until we are notified of a updated soc in the wild. Even then every second hand dealers stock will have this unpatchable unit in stock for a long time.

ANYONE WHO WANTS A HACKED SWITCH CAN GET ONE NOW AND/OR WILL BE ABLE TO GET ONE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

IN FACT THERE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH HACKABLE SWITCHES IN THE WILD TO SUPPORT THE NEXT 2 GENERATIONS OF HACKERS GOING BY NUMBERS.

Thats right. The current number of exploitable switches in the wild so overwhelmingly outweigh the % of hackers, that the odds of getting stuck without access to a reasonably priced hackable switch is laughable.

Is there any changes to the E-Shop security or online play? It would be nice to know if they added more security to catch hacked consoles.
