PS3 – IRISMAN v4.82 – CFW (CEX)
With acknowledgment, we know that IRISMAN has been updated to support 4.82 CFW a few weeks ago. We feel like this application is a necessity to some users in the community and wanting to bring it to your attention.
This backup manager has a lot of functionality from FTP support for transferring files from your PC to your PS3 to having the MAMBA loader incorporated into the manager.
IRISMAN as well with many other file managers have so many features to the list, just use them and see for yourself! This is definitely a great homebrew choice for the PS3. Special thanks to @Aldostools for developing such a useful tool. Download IRISMAN 4.82 here.
How to download and install IRISMAN:
- Download the .pkg file you want to install onto the PS3 from one of the many PS3 developer Websites.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the computer and copy the downloaded .pkg file directly to the USB flash drive.
- Pull the USB flash drive out of the computer and turn on the PS3. Insert the USB flash drive into the PS3.
- Select the “Install Package Files” option from the PS3 main menu. Select the .pkg file that is on the USB flash drive from the menu that comes up. The .pkg file is installed.

Because PS3 is better.
It doesn’t work that way. None of this works that way. Can’t just carry on to hacking a completely different security system like it’s the same thing. They’re on PS3 because, right now, it CAN be done. PS4 cannot. Other groups are working on that.
They will if the jb developer for PS4 released. Not right now.

Hey, question. Where do IrisMan installs .pkg files? Because I tried that and it didn’t work, or didn’t showed in the ui both xmb and irisman itself. I’m worried it’s taking up disk space, where do I look for the files?
