iOS: JailbreakMe 4.0 for 32-bit devices
Yes, you read that correctly. Tihmstar has released a new browser-based jailbreak tool for iOS 9.1-9.3.4 32-bit devices. Just like Comex’s JailbreakME 3.0, you open this link on your supported iDevice and tap on “Jailbreak Me” in blue. Let the tool do it’s work and presto, your iDevice is now jailbroken.
After, I recommend you to untether your new jailbroken device by adding tihmstar’s repository to your Cydia app and installing the “Community Offsets” and “UntetherHomeDepot” packages. To add the repository use this URL http://repo.tihmstar.net/.
Because most Apple fans have unsupported 64-bit devices running iOS 10 or later, Tihmstar admits his tool is not very helpful and he created this tool for fun so that the public can take advantage of it.
After many countless months, there hasn’t been any new releases on jailbreak tools. I think it is safe to say most of us are happy to see jailbreak developers working on iOS again. Are you happy about the tool? Let us know in the comments!
I have a really big doubt, with this now, can I access sandbox apps in a ipad 2 again ? (In 9.2 i think)
My mother used to use a sandbox app to download some videoclass and after some update that I don’t remember which, we lost the possobility of access them by a PC which now there is a 8GB app (which cause a big lag)
It’s a old ipad but there are some paid video class on it.
First :p All this time I’ve been using JailbreakMe repeatedly on my iOS 9 iPad, had no idea I could untether it. Thanks for letting me know xD
Oh wait just realized it was for 32-bit devices lol
Yes, very sorry that you mis understood. I’d be disappointed as well. Check back on Wololo for more updates and content. One day.
This means I can jailbreak an iPod 5th with 9?
And what does “untether” mean?
What about 9.3.5?
