Release (PS Vita): Oilix team archive. Complete backup of dozens of ePSP exploits + tools
Former PSP/Vita scene member (and also a former mod and blogger here) SMOKE has just released a backup of all the tools and exploits of team Oilix.
Team Oilix was the most active team on the Vita scene, in the days where 100% of the (publicly released) hacks on the PS Vita were within its PSP emulator. The team imploded in 2014 when some conflict between Qwikrazor and Acid_Snake (two members of the team) escalated and led to the leak of all their ongoing work, including more than 50 undisclosed ePSP exploits for the PS Vita.
In hindsight, this leak was not as big a deal as I thought it would become, mostly because ultimately the scene got access to much bigger things, in particular HENKaku. But in those days where ePSP exploits were pretty much the only thing we had on the PS Vita, it felt like the end of the scene.
This was exactly 3 years ago. SMOKE, who was a member of Team Oilix, has decided to release the entire archive of the team, on the anniversary of the leak. As he states, “it’s all essentially useless now that we have Henkaku/Taihen/Enso. But useless or not, there might be some important info in it.”
I would love to compare the leak from 2014 with what SMOKE released today. Unfortunately right now I cannot find a copy of the 2014 leak files, and the files uploaded to some sharing service 3 years ago are long gone. At a quick glance, the majority of the archive was already present in the leak, namely the PSP usermode and kernel exploits. In addition to that are a few tools and documentation that might be of interest, if only for “scene history” purposes.
Smoke’s full statement below:
It was September 13th, 2014, the day of the greatest exploit leak in all of PSP/Vita scene history. The event that effectively ended the PSP scene.
I was a part of the Oilix team, I was their tester back then under the name SMOKE.This archive is the entire backup of the Google Drive file server the entire Oilix team shared.
I was the person that removed these files from the drive and I was the person that uploaded the leaked exploits for Acid_Snake in an attempt to get back at qwikrazor87, those exploits were ported with VHBL/ARK by him.More info: https://wololo.net/2014/09/14/the-day-the-vita-scene-imploded-more-than-50-psp-game-exploits-leaked/
For the past two years, I have been the only person to have access to these files, they were backed up by myself before the big leak happened.
It contains not only all the leaked exploits, but other projects the Oilix team was working on.
I am releasing this archive because there is no need to keep anything inside it a secret anymore, its all essentially useless info now that we have Henkaku/Taihen/Enso.
But useless or not, there might be some important info in it, I cant recall if ALL the PSP exploits were leaked or if only most of them were.So today, on the 3 year anniversary I am releasing these files to the public
I hope that someone can run through these files and find something interesting. Or not, its whatever 😛Good luck!
Download Oilix Team ePSP exploits + Tools archive?
Unfortunately the archive does not only contain Team Oilix’s work, but also some piece of software distributed without permission. I have asked SMOKE to upload a “cleaner” version of the file but he won’t have the time to do this. As such we will not be linking to this archive here.

PSP is a dead scene there’s nothing here anymore unless they improve PSX poploader
I still have and occasionally play my PSP Go. It’s my PSTV’s daddy and it wouldn’t be right to get rid of it.

It’s literally almost 24 hours since that started. makes me wonder if this is the intial F! U! to cobra team
What in the world does this have to do with the Cobra Blackfin? Are you serious?
Its the anniversary of the day i could finally exploit my ePSP side of the VITA and I was super happy! So gotta love the drama

Not useless at all, since Henkaku is restricted to 3.60 with no known downgrade method. At least we still have something to do with all those other PS Vitas.

Amen it’s nice to see friends post their work for many to see and learn about. It even gives the trolls on here something to talk about with 0 merit.
