Developer ‘rsn8887’ of Github decided to update some of Cpasjuste’s work in order to give a better experience to Vita users. This time around, PFBA for the Vita got updated to version 1.10 and UAE4ALL2 got updated 1.52.
What’s PFBA and what got updated?
PFBA (Portable Final Burn Alpha) is a version of FBA which is an arcade system emulator that emulates Neo Geo, Capcom and Konami arcade machines amongst others. The interface for PFBA is pretty easy to navigate and it also has an ARM assembly core for emulating 68k machines for better performance. It can also act as a nice alternative to some RetroArch cores since this emulator has great and simple-to-use UI.

This is what’s included in release 1.10 of PFBA:
Flickering borders are fixed if the FIT option is disabled.
What’s UAE4ALL2 and what got updated?
UAE4ALL2 is an emulator for Amiga 500/1200 machines. This emulator has various PSVita specific features, such as multiple hard-file support (up to 4 simultaneously), analogue mouse control and custom autofire mapping with an adjustable fire rate. To use this emulator, you obviously need the Kickstart ROMs you want to use and the images for the games you wish to run. Performance may vary depending on the game you wish to play.
This is what’s included in release 1.52:
Joystick diagonal control and deadzone are improved when controlling the Amiga’s joystick with the Vita’s analogue stick. The joystick’s analogue to digital conversion is now done in a more sophisticated way which includes eight symmetric angular zones which cover all possible directions for more precise control.
In order to get these emulators on your system, just follow the links below and download the VPK. After downloading the VPKs, just copy over your games to the proper paths (and Kickstart BIOS ROM in the case of UAE4ALL2) and play away!
