Launching any executable on Enso bootup
Voxel, a member from a Discord I frequent has uploaded a interesting video. The video shows a executable that is ran directly after Enso launches. This can be useful for many things, however it may be most interesting for those who plan on purchasing a “SD2Vita” adapter.
This could possibly automatically apply the mounting process needed by “SD2Vita”. Or in other words this would streamline the boot process and get the ball rolling for mounting the “SD2Vita”. Imagine the adapter mounting ux0 before even hitting the LiveArea. Seriously what a easy solution for your storage needs!

So I was playing around with HENkaku Enso (I like to live dangrously) and managed to make any *compressed* SELF executable start up on boot! 😀 Very interesting and I hope more people acknowledge this as we move closer to Enso’s release date.
The method seems easy enough, Voxel has left instructions as to how this was achieved.
Just pop “- spawnwait ux0:path/to/self.self” (no quotes) just before the shell.self spawn line in boot_config.txt and you should be good to go if you already have Enso!
Voxel has also left this as a disclaimer for anyone brave enough to pioneer modifying the boot process.
WARNING! Don’t try if you don’t know what it is, and make sure you only create paths to SELFs on ux0 (the memory card) just to be on the safe side of things. Always do this on a spare memcard because if you spawn an app on your memcard that doesn’t exit a different way other than the PS button, you won’t be able to use the memcard unless you format it via settings.
So naturally proceed to attempt this at your own risk. From the disclaimer it appears formatting your memory card is the worst case scenario. Eventually we may have to enter the danger zone and install this to the internal storage. Or maybe a requirement would be having a small proprietary memory card inserted just for the boot process.

Yifanlu has already been able to load ux0 from his own adapter with the persistent hack, this isn’t exactly ground breaking on your provided use-case
It’s still nice for people that have different mods so can mount the one they want.
Ground breaking, perhaps not. That’s kinda why I said it could do “many” things. Sd2Vita is just relevant right now.
Custom Self tho, imagine a psp-style xmb for the vita. I for one would be sold.
scrolling through the menu was always a pain if you had many games, i’ll pass on that

After the Enso and SD2VITA saga..can someone get GTA V Online running on Vita like it is on Android… This would b a dream come true. All the hackers, programers, modders n codders, this is a Call to duty tho.plssssssssssss

There is no way GTAV runs on Android. Don’t be fooled by idiots, it’s either fake, or streamed over the internet.
The potential of vita is still unknown at this point Mostly this upcoming Enso has more impact and opportunity unlike the previous one the Henkaku old version i can’t w8 but most important is the upcoming emulator Games upgraded is what more important
