VitaShell updated to 1.43, reload the config.txt file for taiHENkaku without restarting!
One of the important changes of the latest taiHENkaku update that I did not empathize as much in the article was the ability to apply any modifications to the config.txt without the need for a full reboot of the console. This change however was dependent on an update to VitaShell that wasn’t out yet. It is now.
Developer TheFloW found a way to get some time from his busy schedule to push another update to VitaShell. This is the update that enables us to apply any changes we make to the config.txt file – such as enabling new plugins – without going through the somewhat boring process of fully rebooting the PS Vita and then re-activating taiHENkaku. Remember that this is a setting that is only available when you are in molecularShell mode.
What is VitaShell?
VitaShell is an all-in-one tool for your PS Vita. It started as a file manager and developed into a fully-fledged GUI-less media management tool. Not only can it manage your Vita’s filesystem and install your applications, but it can also serve as a music player or picture viewer. VitaShell also won the Revitalize competition last year. It is also an essential tool for the management of taiHENkaku settings.

- Added taiHEN config.txt reload option available in molecularShell.
- Changed default HENkaku spoofed version to 3.63.
- Fixed bug where you couldn’t exit the application.
Download VitaShell
To update VitaShell to 1.43 just fire up your installed application to see if it automatically fetches the update, since that feature should be working again. If you don’t like feel like doing that or the auto-update isn’t working, just click this link to get the latest vpk file. Remember that if you want to file any report on stuff that might not be working, you are advised to do so here.

Update to 3.6. With Adrenalin there really is no need to stay on a lower firmware.

Does this mean that changing the settings like “Enable unsafe homebrew” doesn’t need a reboot or is this specific to reload of config.txt only.
Does this mean I can swap or insert memory card without a full reboot? I really need a feature like that.
I mistakenly inserted my memory card in the newest firmware vita and now it requires me to update the system to use it. Only if the henkaku framework remains after a reboot, or if I can insert the memory and use it without a reboot, will I be able to retrieve my files on that memory card.

There are two confirmed ways: in one you need a PS3 in the latest fw and with the other you need a PSP with cfw. About 10 post ago here in Wololo.net Wololo itself explained the two methods. Try to find it, i could explain the two process but it would be a reaaaally big post so good luck.
Anyone working on a proper ftp client? would love to install vpks directly from my pc 🙂
