Vita Moonlight updated to v0.1.1, fixes issues with older versions of GFE
Developer d3m3vilurr is back with an update to the ever popular Vita Moonlight application that allows us to stream our PC games to our Vita consoles. This is a minor update addressing issues that people were having connecting to older versions of GeForce Experience. If you are one of those people who stayed behind on GFE updates because of the many “improvements” that nVidia added into their desktop application, this update might fix any issues you had.
If you had no issues with Vita Moonlight or connecting it to your computer you probably don’t need to update. While this update is mostly optional it is still advisable since the application was updated to support the latest VitaSDK.
What is Vita Moonlight?
Moonlight is an open-source implementation of the nVidia GameStream client that allows you to stream your Steam games (and some non-steam ones) to a mobile device of your choice. It allows for high-quality streaming with minimal to no input lag of your PC games. Originally the GameStream system only allowed to stream to nVidia Shield devices, but Moonlight allowed people to stream to their favorite devices and now we can use it on our Vitas too. You can check is your GPU is supported here.

To download and install Vita Moonlight, just click here to go to the GitHub release page or click here to download the vpk file directly. If you encounter any bugs that you feel need to be reported so the developers can fix, do so by heading to the issue tracker on the repository and opening a ticket for the issue you are having – just don’t forget to check if a ticket with the same issue has already been opened first!

Probably a stupid question, but is this workable with an AMD GPU? <__> I have a shiny new AMD Radeon RX 480 4 GB and with Steam running and my Vita running Moonlight trying to connect to my PC’s IP address I’m getting nothing.
nope, ” nVidia GameStream” not AMD GameStream.
HI guys, i can’t get moonlight play trought internet but working fine in home network. I have opened ports in my router TCP 35043, 47984, 47989, 47995, 47996, 48010 UDP 47998, 47999, 48000. after stream starting geting error “Failed to start sream: error code-1 Failed stage: RTSP handshake (error code -1) please help ;'(
because it’s not supposed to work outside of lan
