That’s all relative. Your deal requires to have the Target Red card and to install the Target app to get the coupon. Last but not least, you have to go to a physical store and hope that they actually have the device there, to get the bulk of the discount. You’re spending lots of time and effort for that deal. I’ve been to target for a “50% off VitaTV” offer before, the store didn’t even have the VitaTV! It was a win-win situation for them: I didn’t get the deal, AND now for sure they have me subscribed to their ads mailing list!
Amazon’s price does not require any of that. I agree the link you sent is a good deal but there’s some significant work to get it. without any discount card, etc… their price is higher than on Amazon. Think about it.
With that being said I agree that the deals this week aren’t all great. Most retailers are getting ready for bigger deals around Thanksgiving.
