3DS Firmware 11.2 is out, potentially patches exploits
Nintendo released firmware 11.2 for the 3DS a few hours ago. 3DS scene hackers are advising the homebrew community to stay away from the update until it is confirmed what is patched, what is not.
Notes on the update are light, but point to one of the dreaded “we’ve patched a bunch of exploits”, or, in more official words:
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
The previous update, Firmware 11.1, was released about a month and a half ago.
Early reports are saying that Ninjhax and stickerhax are still working, as well as Luma3DS and A9LH on the emuNANDs front. NTR appears to be patched, and many other hacks still need to be verified.
As advised, stay clear from the update until hackers from the 3DS scene confirm what works and what doesn’t.

So im guessing Theres a chance even teh sky3ds carts will be goosed with this patch as well :/
The sky3ds and sky3ds+ are works directly on the new firmware.
Looks like ctr-httpwn is patched. I haven’t been able to get online, and I sure as heck don’t feel like updating my 3ds every few months.
new update means ctr-httpwn won’t work for a day or so(?) until yellows8’s servers figure out some things.
Good to know. I don’t use my 3ds that much, so I never pay much attention to how it works.
what is NTR?
NTR is something you run on your 3ds to enable debugging and cheats I think

When you say NTR was fixed, are you referring to people boting straight in to it or does this also remove the Boot NTR features when launched on an emuNAND system that is already running unsigned stuff
I got emunand… is it safe to update the emunand or not?
