Hacker Major_Tom leaves the PS Vita scene
Developer Major_Tom, one of the most prolific hackers on the PS vita scene, has announced today that he is retiring from the PS vita scene. He stated that he might come back to the console hacking scene ultimately, potentially under another alias.
Although he’s requested to not ask for his reasons, I’m going to go ahead and assume that life has caught up with Major_Tom, dramatically reducing his amount of free time for the months or years ahead. This is not surprising and most hackers reach that point ultimately. There’s so much one can do when passion is the only thing driving you.
Major Tom also mentioned on Twitter that some of his ongoing projects might end up being released, depending on the teams he’s been working with with.
Major_Tom was behind some of the earlier PS vita tricks such as the custom bubble trick with fellow hacker Mr.Gas. Before that, under the alias TomTomDu80, he had released some ports of VHBL.
I’m leaving the PSVita scene. I might come back on a future console (might use another alias), but for now, that is. Don’t ask for reasons.

Projects I was working on might or might not be released, depending on leaks and people I work with.
