  2. Ravi

    Wow amazing 😀

  3. slashmegaman

I wonder how thus will turn out?

  4. Aurizen

This is wonderful! Talk about progress. Would be great to see a CFW starting to happen. Or a more of a permanent Henkaku.

  5. xErwin

i think sony paid people to make henkaku

    • Doolally

      Don’t be stupid.

      • xErwin

but it did boost vita (ps tv also) sales a lot (at least in my country) , more than 1000 vitas were sold!

      • Aranor

xErwin have theoretically thrue 😀 Vita is in the near of end. This hack is very attractive for new buyers 😀 No … Sony didn’t paid people for hack his devices 😀 5 years of developing, reverse engineering, study of webkit and other brings “some fruits” for us … Nothing more (no Sony money, but people’s interesting in hacking).

      • Adam Fox

In all reality, due to the lack of Vita sales, it would almost make sense for Sony to “unlock” the Vita from ANY copy protection. It would sell a lot more units and they’d still make a HUGE profit off the outrageous memory card prices :)…I know this would never happen, but once people found out they could run pirated games on the Vita, they’d buy one to try it out…then they’d learn how much the memory cards cost and either buy the memory cards and deal with the costs or they’d just let the Vita collect dust, either way it would boost system sales and popularity

        • xErwin

my father who owns a chain of console shops sold over 1000 vitas and 100 vita cards after henkaku was released (almost all of them asked if device is on 3.60 or lower(we offer console test before someone buy’s them)

    • meysam25

      any thing can happend

    • Whom?

I wouldn’t say they paid anyone it’s more likely it was someone who handles the updates for Sony who got their hands a bit dirty because HENkaku isn’t capable on any version before 3.60 meaning it’s something from the 3.60 update that made it capable whether that’s the case, or just the right timing HENkaku definitely knows more then their telling us, and that’s both alarming, and interesting all at he sametime

      • xErwin

my idea is that exploit used by henkaku was just a test by sony to see how would it do in the scene.

        • noname120

This is utter ***. Sony is a known and established company, they won’t risk their reputation for a console that they abandonned several years ago.

      • noname120

This is false. Henkaku could run on older firmware but nobody bothered to make it work, as there is not much benefit in doing so.

      • Metalik

Older firmwares can be used for Henkaku, it’s just that no one wants to mess with that, it doesn’t worth the time to port it.

  6. Aranor

Time to find source 😀 Who now will really “first” ? 😀

  7. Rasengan

    Last

  8. Gaze

We will have to wait and see if they can do this for other games. I don’t think $ony can mess with Chinese hackers.

  9. Chris

Well, of course, I’m not a trusted source as I just run other people’s codes, but I did manage to get past the main screen at least. Got bored after though.

  10. anonanon

I really wish you wouldn’t report on piracy here. I feel you’re just incredibly hypocritical. Claiming to not support piracy, but then pouncing on any chance to report on it. This really shows the dark, click baity side of wololo.net – if you really don’t support piracy, can you not put your morals over your ad revenue and view counters?

    • All News

It’s a news site. Let’s say piracy is ‘bad news’ – you don’t think it’s important too?

    • Anonsafuckingfaggot

Get the *** out of here. Piracy will be the only thing that keeps the Vita alive in the end.

    • Hahathissillyguy

      This isn’t your safe place.

    • More News

Yet you clicked on the title to read and see. I second u/All news. Wololo.net has always been reporting whats happening in the scene and this is a big thing right now to write about. Everybody is interested.

    • wololo

Anonanon, we report on relevant and important news of the scene, while staying within legal boundaries. This is important news for the scene. Just because we talk about it doesn’t mean we condone it in any way. Read my article “piracy doesn’t make sense anymore” if you want a clear understanding of where I personally stand on this topic.

    • TheRealSlimShady

piracy is good news, just pucking accept it or i will smash that teeth out of your pretty face 🙂

      • Baktillus

        “TheRealSlimShady”
My, my what would your mother say if she knew that you’re flinging around such aggressive threats in her basement?

    • The K

      Fully agreed.
I never understood the point of informing everyone there is piracy, when you’re not supporting it

    • facepalm

Piracy is news, but by your logic that means if someone gets shot then tv news companies shouldn’t broadcast news about it?
If wololo supported piracy he would of linked to the source, but nope he is just telling people what is happening on the scene.
Groups of people complaining he never posts news about vita hacking and then another group of people complaining he’s posting news about hacking, hahaha he can’t win!

    • Whom?

News is news they have to report on it to keep the interest of their viewers, and keep everyone informed on what’s happening good, or bad to know what to stay away from, and go towards if you censor the news, and information as a whole we’ll eventually as a people forget the fine line between what is, and isn’t accepted it generally not a good idea trust me while it may seem like their promoting it by mentioning it they aren’t because they aren’t only saying how bad it is for the console, but not giving the resources to preform it, and most of the avg readers out there won’t put the time into finding it as it’s too much of a chore it’s psychology baby understand it, and you can go far

Note though I gave about half a *** on this paragraph so if you don’t like it don’t worry I didn’t even give it a second read

    • TooCoolToRule

I believe it’s called ‘freedom of information’.

  11. KimoMaka

You can search for “Tokyo Xanadu vpk chinese” on google, then go for a twitter link 😉
FORBIDDEN TO POST HERE 😀 !

    • SomeStuff?

Lol, well they are avoiding a Law Suit from Sony ATM they are still well in the rights to talk about the Piracy/Leak, but by posting a way to download it through links, and sources on the thread that would cross that very fine line of legality that most of these Twitter posters are lucky to get away with

  12. Luis

WOW!! Amazing!!! I really wish can Release the game “Superbeat Xonic”, is the only game i want to play and i can’t buy at my country 🙁

  13. El Tri

    Getting Closer and closer!

  14. Thetechdoc

Ooo exciting, at very least its another free game to play with haha, trying to find a copy but its proving more difficult than it was to gind adventure time, Im sure ill find it soon

  15. Ricochet90

    IT’S HAPPENING!

Oh my god I’m so happy!

    • SomeStuff?

I know, I’ve been waiting since 3.52 finally it’s here lol hopefully we get CFW with all these PUP dumps so we can spoof our FW version, and also have some awesome CFW exclusive apps ; )

  16. meysam25

i think that is , we done , piracy is avalible

  17. Ricochet90

How do I install it? where i’m supposed to put the unzipped files?

  18. Aurizen

We don’t know if it’s the same as Adventure time. So we’ll have to wait to see how this goes.

  19. Maav

I got C2-12828-1 when trying to launch the game. I extracted xanadu.vpk to ux0:app/PCSG00608 then installed xanadu0.vpk. Anyone had this issue?

  20. supergun

    Working for me.

  21. pat

    1. You must have Henkaku installed on your PSVITA (Currently
    only supports fw 3.60).
    2. You are required to have an ftp client installed on your PC, I
    recommend Filezilla.
    3. Open up Vitashell and press SELECT, note the server address
    prompted on your screen.
    4. Open your ftp client and connect to the address shown on
    screen.
    5. Create a directory in /ux0: (Example: /ux0:/VPK)
    6. Copy the vpk to that directory.
    7. Disconnect the FTP server by pressing CIRCLE and navigate to
your VPK directory on your Vita.
    8. Install xanadu0.vpk
    9. Once finished installing, press SELECT again and reconnect to
the server via your FTP client.
    10. Navigate to /ux0:/app/PCSG00608
    11. Extract data files to the directory via your FTP client.
    12. Launch the game.

    • Whom?

You could use the File Explorer built into every Windows OS it’s as simple as typing in “ftp://192.168.X.XX:1337” without quotes, and replacing x with what your HENkaku ftp says, and hitting enter once, so no extra downloads, etc

      • pat

windows is not THE os… you can use better os you know….

      • SomeStuff?

It’s Whom? under a different name (Once I make a new name it doesn’t change till I wipe my cookies so yeah ( -_- ) )

Anyway I use Windows, and Manjaro Linux as my two Dual Boot Options I just use Windows primarily to handle my files because it’s more intuitive to me as I have a better understanding of the OS inside, and out including all the ways to keep Microsoft from dumping any data from my PC

also I just want to put this out there whoever uses Ubuntu it’s total garbage IDK how you guys can tell me that’s a favorable Linux OS Manjaro is much more refined, and it doesn’t get half the respect it deserves I swear ID get it at all

  22. Ricochet90

I’m gonna seed this until sony comes to my house to arrest me 🙂

  23. George

Good news but the only piracy I want to see in the vita are the *** memory cards. If they finally crack that stupid encryption on the card and the vita, we will be able to use other methods to have capacity. I won’t care to have a brick stuck on the back side of the Vita as long as I can have more than 16 gigs without paying for a second console for it.

  24. Butt

Not really interested in pirating new vita games. I hope henkaku gets good emulator support for older games.

  25. Lucio

    OH LET”S BREAK IT DOWN!

  26. Sveg

    It works great 😀

  27. Random

Can confirm it works. Now we wait to see if it’s a dev console leak or the real deal.

  28. zagvot

can I have the link? can I test the game? 🙂

  29. mercury

    *** actually works lol.

  30. sun

it’s true, and easy to install.

  31. Rylai

OMG hope this isn’t true… This would totally kill development on PS Vita if ever… I just want piracy on PSP/PS1 as this would attract userbase and at the same time promote vita games and regain upward trend on sales. But piracy on Vita games is another thing.

  32. lol

So many happy kids there that is going to come back here all nasty and butthurt if this leak turns out to be the same as Adventure Time leak lol

  33. Gbatemp_comment

The theory is he had a DRM free dev copy and didn’t actually break the decryption and reinject the header into the eboot, but rather he leaked the dev version their company was translating and is just saying that for attention or to cover the fact it was a dev copy to shift blame from the translation company.

He was asking if Ys was using the same company as a way to figure out if this was indeed the case.

I see… thanks for the clarification, as i do not know of the theory beforehand hence was confused by frogboy reply.
But IMO, i think this theory make alot of sense, considering both Y8 and tokyo xandu are publish and produce by nihon falcon, it isnt too surprising that both game rights of translation is given to a single company.

  34. goyscript aes

thank you to the chinese programmer decrypter for that news, psvita hack full some day.

  35. Jose

Can someone help me? I have a ps vita and a 4gb memory with my account signed in and a bunch of games backups in my pc. I want to buy a new 16 gb memory. Can I use a new memory and play my backups without connecting to psn and updating to 3.61?

  36. Sansibar

Hi Comrades! I successfully installed this game on my vita and now I don’t know how it delete. I’m delete folder with this game in ux0:/app, but shortcut on desctop not deleted and now I can see error on press it. Please tell me how right deleting installed .vpk apps. THX!

  37. Sansibar
