HENkaku offline installer released
We mentioned yesterday that PlayStation Vita hacker xyz has shown a way to execute HENkaku without an internet connection. You’ll only need an internet connection once for the initial setup of the offline installer.
Xyz, one of the devs behind HENkaku, has just released the HENkaku offline installer. Not only can you now run HENkaku without internet, it’s even faster and much more stable than the web browser exploit in our tests.
The announce, which was made by Yifanlu, also mentions that HENkaku has been updated to now install VitaShell 0.7 instead of molecularShell. It is likely molecularShell will now be deprecated in favor of VitaShell.
Download and Install HENkaku-offline

Install instructions (from xyz):
To install the exploit (You need internet connection to install the exploit, but not to run it):
- First, install and activate HENkaku from https://henkaku.xyz/
- Install the vpk
- Launch offlineInstaller bubble
- Follow the instructions: press CROSS to install
- (Do not delete the bubble after the exploit is installed. You should redo the installation when you have internet access to ensure that you get the latest version of HENkaku)
To run the exploit:
- Reboot your PS Vita
- Disable Wi-Fi
- Open Email app. If at some point it asks you to enable wifi, press “No”. If you have wifi switched on, the message list will not load.
- If you have multiple email accounts, select “HENkaku Offline”
- Select “Inbox”, then click on the first email
- Wait about 10-20 seconds. You might get a “Please wait” screen multiple times. You might also get an “An error has occurred” screen multiple times. If you get any of these more than five times in a row, reboot your Vita and try again.
- You should see the same screen as with online installation (black screen with text and molecule logo)
To uninstall the exploit:
- Launch offlineInstaller
- Press CIRCLE to uninstall

i tried downloading it from vita but didnt work,it says error message every time.
You have to download the vpk fie from pc and then transfer it to vita.
i have error evry time but ofter i click on ok it show me plz w8 and done

How do I install the .vpk?

Having trouble getting ftp to work at all. Videos and other tutorials don’t seem to help. Sometimes it seems like I almost get it, then something always goes wrong. I’ll just wait for a permanent CFW or something.
Assuming a permanent CFW did get created, you’d more than likely have to install it via a .vpk..
Are you using FileZilla?
im using total commander (google it) so ill give instructions based on that.
open VitaShell and press the select button. itll give you an address to connect to using ftp.
open total commander on your computer and choose from the top bar “Net”, “FTP Connect” and from the new window choose “New Connection”. On the session field put a name, and on the host name field put the address from VitaShell.
it works with totalcommander, just disable passivemode and put ftp://YOURIP:1337/ux0:/ in the ip box at the top and anonymous as user – do not enable SSL/sftp – should look like this: http://imgur.com/c1B8wJs
(just in english rather than german and also replace YOURIP with the actual ip – and obviously it looks different on windows)
if it works on my mobile you should get it to work too (it didn’t work without adding ftp:// and anonymous! if you can’t get it to work, use filezilla on pc, this works for everyone without further tweaking, even the biggest noobs 😛
so tl;dr add ftp:// in front of the adress, and /ux0:/ at the end, anonymous as user, no password, disable passive mode/switch to active, disable SSL/use ftp instead of sftp or ftps
or just switch to filezilla.
Im thinking there needs to be a How-To on how to connect, where to place VPKs, and Installing them.

Lucky you. For most people, the boot rate is still rather low – taking at least 5 attempts.

Didn’t work for me first try. Had to delete cookies and reset. Still can’t do anything with the hack, since the only way to put stuff on my Vita now is through FTP, which I don’t know how to use.
It is very easy if you use windows explorer. Just navigate to the address you are shown on the vita. Then once it connects you will see a message “To view this FTP site in File Explorer: press Alt, click View, and then click Open FTP Site in File Explorer”. If you press alt and click view, then you can simply drag and drop files from your computer to your vita…
You also can use android for that. Find AndFTP in google playstore
For some reason when I installed the offline HENkaku exploit and rebooted my system. My icons for my downloaded programs were all jumbled up and folders for digital games were deleted.
How to the heck that happened? Did the digital games totally deleted??

Hello I have a question, everyone saw the vpk of time adventure, I install it now and let me know how to delete the trophies for this game, as it would be pretty obvious to sony monitor trophies to see who installed this game and ban all, sorry for the English I speak Spanish and i follow you for a while now

It says it installs vita shell 07, yet what if you have it already installed seperately? I already had vita 07 before i used this but still shows molecular 0.6 after using the offline method. Is it installing as a seperate app or is molecular showing 0.7?

Be careful there are 2 kinds of errors you can get once you entered the henkaku email, after a reboot :
– One appears instantly. In that case it will never work. To fix that re-start again offlineinstaller and repress x (you will have to reactive henkaku first, through the install button of moleculeShell or thru xyz web page, with vita update blocker 1.2 started and your proxy set to it to avoid firmware update, or any fw update blocker you prefer)
– The other one appears after a few seconds and sony suggests to send a report, press ps immediately and stop mail app. reboot vita or ps tv and restart to enter again the email. It will work after a few attempts. Don’t despair. That is the error xyz is refering to.
the icon installed is the icon of molecular shell, but when you run it, it runs visatshell.
