PSProxy 2.0: bypass PS4 latest firmware requirement
Scene member Red-EyeX32 released PSProxy 2.0 last week, a tool that apparently lets 3.50 users access the PSN without having to update to 3.55.
We haven’t tested the tool here at wololo.net, however it has been confirmed over at psx-place that the tool does not work for a PS4 running firmware 1.76. This is not surprising, historically these “spoof” tools only really work on firmware “N-1”. In this case firmware 3.50 will still be allowed to access the PSN through the spoofer even though the latest firmware is 3.55. This seems to be confirmed by people who have tested the tool so far.
As a result, this spoofer is probably of limited use for now, until an exploit is published for the latest PS4 firmware, at which point such a tool could become crucial for the people willing to stay on a lower PS4 firmware while still being able to access the PSN.

How to use PSProxy (from the author)
- Press start on the utility.
- Add IP and Port to the PS4.
- Sign-In to PSN

It seems like the whole PS scene is dead.. even Vita. I think Sony hired all the brains behind CFW
Vita is not surprising. PS4 is just tight lipped. PS4 has already been jailbroken, just no CFW. Vita doesn’t have enough interest behind it to keep going. Qwik, TN, Mr. Gass, Yifan (lol light bulb), and Xmax have all pretty much gone radio silent. I know I’m missing a few names, but they’ve all gone silent as well. Sad days.
PS4 is still very much alive, just quiet for now.

How do you make this work?the instructions aren’t that detailed.
Press start on the program, set up network connection on PS4, when you get to proxy part, put the IP address and port listed in the program, press next until you are done, then you can bypass update.
If this is anything like the PS3, I remember seeing people comment how big a ban risk it was using a proxy to bypass the update. That may have all been in regards to using a jailbroken console, but I remember seeing many postings about that.

OK after further testing have noticed that during online playing with other players, I’ve noticed major glitches in games (at which I feel is a bad possibility of future bans if noticed!) And can’t download anything from the psn store.
I’ve got most of the glitches saved in pics and videos on my console. But I’m not sure if I should post them here!
can this bypass also act as a emulator for ps plus. To play the already downloaded games on ps4. Without ps plus the games dont work
