NeopopVITA (Neogeo Pocket Color emulator) & SMSPlusVITA (Master System / Game Gear emulator) updated
Developer Frangar has updated his emulators NeopopVITA and SMSPlusVITA, a NeoGeo pocket color emulator, and a Sega Master System / Game Gear emulator respectively.
His latest updates are part of the Revitalize competition, a PS Vita homebrew contest we’re organizing here at wololo.net, with $450 in cash prizes. He joins Smoke’s NES4Vita entry, and I’m sure many more will be coming soon. (You have until the end of September to submit your entry!)
These two emulators require the Rejuvenate hack to run on your PS Vita. If you are on firmware 3.51 or below, check the instructions on how to install the Rejuvenate hack and run homebrews on your Vita.
This new update brings, for both emulators, a better font that will make the emulators much more readable for PS TV users. Both emulators received a truckload of bug fixes, and SMSPlus gets savestates support.

Hopefully there will be more Emulators coming. I am hoping as I said before for a Doom Emu that can run the Brutal Doom Mod (.pk3 File), N64 since we have all the Inputs for it, and a MAME Emulator that is hopefully the latest possible Build.
Question though, I know when going to run the Homebrew, you have to have your Vita connected to the PC, but after everything is loaded and running, does the Vita still have to be connected? Have not started running anything yet. I got the necessary Files in the PC App, and the 3 Files in the Email, just wanting to clarify everything first.
Why can’t we have this quality of emulators in 3DS? =(
