UPDATE

The Street Fighter 5 beta stress test for the North American and Latin American region has begun. The dates and time for these territories have been provided by Capcom via on the official Capcom blog and on social media:



After successful SFV online stress tests in both Europe and Asia, we are happy to announce that the North and South America stress tests will be taking place at the following times:

25^th of August 16:00 – 00:00 PT (stress test is over)

26^th of August 16:00 – 00:00 PT

 

Additionally Capcom opened a new Twitter account @SFVserver specifically to share information on the status of the Street Fighter 5 (beta) server.

I apologize for the late update, this is mostly due to twitter freezing my account since they “detected automated behavior" a statement so ridiculous it is laughable at best. Still, I would like to offer my sincere apologies.

The Street Fighter 5 Beta stress test for Europe is over. Keep in mind this was the testing for the actual beta. The original five day long beta will still happen and the dates and times will be announced at a later date.

@Streetfighter, Capcom’s dedicated twitter account for Street Fighter 5, thanked all who participated in the test and since this first, in a series of stress tests, is considered a success an announcement for other territories should follow soon.

 

 

Today, Capcom revealed the renewed schedule for the Street Fighter 5 beta roll out.

After a series of internal stress tests held earlier week, Capcom is now kicking it up a notch letting players know in advance when the beta will be live again for further stress testing.

In de immediate future Capcom will be running a series of region specific stress tests. By running the stress tests per region Capcom hopes to gather information about these areas presumably to optimize the netcode for when the final game launches. These stress test are an addition to the five day Street Fighter 5 beta which will be announced at a later date.

Street Fighter V Beta dates & times per region

The first regional test will be held for Europe and will begin today on 20^th of August from 16:00 – 00:00 BST

The second stress test will also be held in Europe and goes life on 21th of August from 16:00 – 00:00 BST

At this time Capcom did not give any info on the time and date for the regional tests in other territories. Instead they said the following:



When we are confident with the results from this test, we will share the dates and times for North America and Asia’s region specific tests, and once we have successfully completed each regional stress test, we will announce the dates and times of the official global beta test.
