God Eater 2 PSP Translation goes public – We need your help!
Developers Coldbird and noname120 have decided to open the God Eater 2 translation to the public. This means anyone can now contribute without their approval. You do not have to be part of the ‘team’, you can simply translate by just connecting to their transifex project here.
God Eater 2 is an RPG game that was released in 2013 in Japan. It is a sequel to God Eater Burst for PSP. It was then later released for the Playstation Vita and PS4 as God Eater 2 Rage Burst. There are new features and additions such as the three new weapons, the Boost Hammer, Charge Spear, and the Shotgun, each with its own function and abilities for the player to use. If you’ve played and liked the first one, then surely you’d love the second.
I want to emphasize, if anyone’s willing to translate while relying on google translate or any other automated translator, please do NOT do so. These translators are known to produce horrible translations, since they usually just translate everything word for word, and when written in English it is usually not put very well.

As if i’d care for old version with no variant scythe, no skill install, no rage burst, no balance patch.. and I got platinum trophy for both GE2 and RB, plus it’s PSP. The last thing, i don’t *** care if it’s not english, as long as it’s not chinese or korean language.
Getting error in Transifex
I submitted a few translations and I’d encourage you all to do the same if you can. I’m by no means fluent in Japanese, I actually only know a few words, but I am fluent in the web. My approach was to take the smallest strings I could find and start searching online for them. A lot of them seem to be very “video gamey” and are used in games like Toukiden, Kingdom Hearts, and even previous God Eater game, so with a bit of hard work, deduction, and luck you can probably figure out what they mean with a degree of confidence.
Heck yeah, sadly i have no knowledge with such things, but i certainly am looking forward to a complete translation.
One of the games that made the PSP and amazing platform. Sadly the Vita hasn’t lived up to its little brother library. Good to see this coming to life though. So many great PSP games never saw the light of day stateside bit have been given new life due to amazing translations such as this one.
Some of the words or sentence depends on the situation that’s used. Hence i suggest someone go through the game play to verify.
They could use webtranslate. We have good experience with them.
I wish I could get into God Eater. I always fall back into Monster Hunter’s loving embrace. The translation for MHP3 by Team Maverick was awesome! I hope this gets support from it’s own cult.
WTH @@ I saw this article this morning and the translation’s percentage was 43% and now it is sitting at 63%. 20% in 10 hours. I hope they have a good proof reader then
