Can I use the ape escape us version on a European ps vita?
    Thanks

  2. Reprep

If you are having trouble booting homebrew through tn-v11, alternatively you can convert your homebrew to ISO and shoot it that way.

Hope for 3.36 Patapon 2 save release soon!

Thanks a lot!

  7. Valiantium Blade

I just get a white screen… using WOP on 3.50. I copied the 660.PBP to the TN-V folder and I held R while executing the exploit, still not working. What am I doing wrong?

  8. gunblade

    Cool. Thks.

  9. dragonquest

So how is the PS1 compatibility in TN-V11? Currently losing TN-X is the biggest setback to me moving to a higher firmware.

    • Reprep

PS1 compatibility in TN-V11 is same as TN-V10 from what i tested. It has sound through PEOPS which slows some games. TN-X has perfect audio. TN-X is the only reason i am still at 3.18.

  12. David

I dont see TNV folder on the vita when I wanna transfer it over. I can see the UCUS986090000 folder though. can someone help me?

  13. germanmafia23

So whats the difference between TV-V11 and ARK2? Because I got ARK turned into a bubble already? What does this do and should I get it?

    Thanks

  14. Frection

You should at least mention that the exploit is US only in the title, I and may people have been misled by the title its self because of it

    • Reprep

There are several games in the article and most of them are available in multiple regions. Ape Escape is US only and it is clearly stated in the article.

Tutorial pls for Patapon2 exploit 3.36

  16. Mo Poge

I don’t get it. Why would we NOT want to use the latest (non 2nd device) exploit with 3.50? I know that custom bubbles can’t be created with 3.50, but other than that, why stay at <3.50?

    • Mo Poge

In other words, what can be done with custom bubbles that the TN-V11 on 3.50 doesn’t already allow?

  17. lollypop

internet isnt intended for u to rofl

  18. SuBzErOy2k

Excellent, I have it in my ps vita with fw 3.36 + PHP…

    Sorry for my bad english…

  19. jkoiou

Haven’t been up to date on the vita hacking scene in a few months. Is there a reason to upgrade to a new firmware if I’m already running TnV? I’m not sure I want to mess with bubbles etc on my home screen but was there improvements on stability and/or more memory unlocked for better emulator experiences on the newer firmwares?

    • Reprep

If you have TN-V10 no need to update. You can also make a bubble for instant loading of TN-V10 without updating your firmware.

  20. destrukto

Tekken 6 not working (black screen) 🙁

    • ash

I’m having same problem with tekken 6. The iso file work flawlessly on android emulator though. Do you have any luck on fixing it?

  21. Spewfr

I hate to look like a whiner, but… All that’s left for a perfect 3.50 is one of those sweet, sweet new custom bubble methods 😀
    Caaaaaan’t WAIT 😀

  22. nick

You have to use the qcma to transfer the tn v file disable the opencma and use qcma it worked for me but when I,try the INSTALL.ZIP method for homebrew it doesn’t work

  23. Thunder

So I transfered the files with qcma run the wop exploit the same way like ark and receive a white screen what now?

    • Sorbex

ok let me try to help( answer i posted for somebody else). if you already have a custom bubble that launches the ark2 ecfw is really simple.
-do a backup in case you screw it, is easy to screw it and is better to be careful, be calm and take your time with each step.
-Download the TNV11 iso (posted above) and sign it with fake_np
-transfer the new EBOOT.PBP to a save data folder in a zip folder called INSTALL.ZIP
      example: NPUG80320>INSTALL.ZIP>EBOOT.PBP
-to the savedata folder you are going to transfer too the TNV_54321 with the 660.PBP inside.
      – now you need your original savedata exploit for numblast, forget about the ones that are here on top ^
-launch your custom bubble with ark2
      – with ark2 run the pspfiler
      – go to the savefile where you saved the EBOOT.PBP inside the INSTALL.ZIP folder
      – copy that EBOOT.PBP
      – remember when you created two folders with the same name? when creating the original ark2 custom bubble? what you are going to do here is simple- substitute the ark2 EBOOT.PBP with the new EBOOT.PBP ( inside the folder that DOESNT have the “&" symbol)-
-verify you did everything correctly, please, verify twice.
      -tunrn off your vita
-hold home,r trigger and power button
      -rebuilt database
      -select your game
it will now open a recovery menu, the tnv11 recovery menu!! you almost there!!
-select advanced> install 660 files… wait for it to install, you will see the progress in the bottom. when it reaches 100% go back and select exit and it will automatically launch the psp xmb menu.
Thats it!! , hope you understanded it , im sorry for my english i tried my best!!
      – GOOD LUCK !!

  24. Koen

Installing Homebrew doesn’t work for me neither. (TN-v11 on 3.50)
When clicking on Memory Card to open the zip, for a second a blue banner with text appears on screen and disappears and then it keeps loading.

    • bckrupps37

Me also. Tried a few. Still working on figuring ps1 games. Psp games run perfect. Love that you can transfer the game files to the system rather than having to reload a huge game save everytime also.

  25. Foxy1604

I am trying to make this work for a couple of hours now but it seems to be even a harder thing than programming a old Fanuc so let’s hope that someone make a video tut about it! 😀

  26. Aedando

Sweet! I upgraded to 3.50 because I liked the button remapping features they addded, and I planned on buying Ape Escape: OTL anyways.

I can still play the game itself as long as I keep my save file on the second or third slot, right?

  27. odyle54

It doesn’t work for me, i have a red screen when i launch.
vita 3.50 with world of pool eu

  28. Reprep

Have a look at this mini tutorial if you are having trouble installing homebrew to TN-V11. you can use this for ps1 games too except for the ISO converting part. PS1 games should be transferred as EBOOT.PBP.

  29. drk

    had ark 2 with patapon 2 3.36.question can i have this tnv11

  30. Advoc

Is there a really specific step by step, absolutely nothing left to ambiguity tutorial on how to install TNV via the exploit? I’ve installed QCMA and that’s working now. I’m assuming there’s no way to “push” the files onto your Vita, you use the content manager app on the vita itself correct? So long as its QCMA not CMA on your PC to upload the files? I’ve got that, it’s working. I can trigger the exploit but it fail every time.

I think I’m just not setting up the files properly to upload. Used this tut:
    http://hackinformer.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=12
but right around step 2 it doesn’t really explain where the files go. Do the TNV files go in the exact same folder as the save files? or the root folder outside of that? Which files go in which folder? I have to rename something but I can’t on 3.50? Or thats only for installing homebrews once I”ve already installed TNV?

Also used the official tut: http://wololo.net/downloads/index.php/download/7672
but when it says “savedata” folder does it mean the folder specifically titled “PSAVEDATA” or does it mean the subfolder that your exploit save is in? Is every file supposed to be in the same folder or what? I hate need a handholding but if you’re a newb on this site (i’ve been lurking here since Christmas when I got my Vita) finding the information you need is REALLY hard.

Verify that you can connect by opening the Content Manager App and choose Copy Content.

If you installed the Content Manager App(CMA) on your PC, it should create a new folder in your Documents directory.

        Download the files from here(http://wololo.net/downloads/index.php/download/7672).

        Instructions:
1)Copy the 2 folders extracted to
        C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\PS Vita\PSAVEDATA\XXXXXXXXXX
        2)Copy ‘TN.BIN’ and ‘FLASH0.TN’ into the folder “UCUS986090000”
3)Download the 6.60 Firmware he provides, extract and rename the PBP file to ‘660.PBP’ and copy that to the “TNV_54321” folder.

4)On your Vita, open the CMA and select CopyContent and PC>Vita.
5)Select Application and under Saved Data, select PSP/Other
6)Select both the files and copy/overwrite

7)Open Ape escape, and load the first file
        8)Select Advanced
        9)Select install 660 files

That should be it. Every time you want to load the PSP firmware, you have to load the Ape Escape file.

My vita is currenly with JP PSN.Should i wait for the exploit game from JP PSN, or should i get this?

  32. Lauro

Cant find Ape Escape: On the Loose anymore :/

  33. Sorbex

I’m sorry for bothering you, i have a problem, and is not following instructions, I downloaded the tnv-11 files for PHP I replaced the H.bin in my PHP savedata(the exploited one) and transferred the tnv11 folder with the 660.pbp via qcma. So I have the two folders: the exploited pool hall pro data with the h.bin and the tnv11 folder with the 660.php correctly in place. I run the PHP game , load the exploited data- multiplayer-join. it loads the exploited data but gets stuck at a white screen indefinitely . I’m Pressing the R-trigger in variuos scenarios the first time i tried i had it pressed before “joining” the game and holded it but the only thing that was at my screen was the white background, the second time i waited for the white screen to appear and inmediately holded the r-trigger but, again, the only thing in my screen was the white background. I have repeated the steps many times really carefully from the beggining and I saw some people saying ” use the ape escape ” but I’m really broke and cannot afford to buy more exploited games. I haven’t updated my PSVITA, it is on 3.36. and i had successfully installed the ark-2 as a custom bubble – i reversed the process to install the tnv-11. Can anyone please explain it to me if i am doing anything wrong?

    • Reprep

you need a second hacked PSP or PS Vita for PHP.

    • SuBzErOy2k

Hello , well look what I did was create a custom bubble and transfer the save TNV_54321 with 660.PBP in the folder save through QCMA , so I worked my , I do not need the second device , I ‘ll try to do with the second device to see if it goes … I confirm anything … Greetings

  37. SpicyMcHaggis

Can anyone help? I am using Numblast on 3.36 and I am starting to get a headache

I am trying to follow this guide http://wololo.net/downloads/index.php/download/7672

I replaced the old H.BIN with the new released today. I copied these folders to PSAVEDATA:

    NPUG80320KEXPLOIT
    NPUG80320SAVEDATA
    TNV_54321

Put them on my Vita using QCMA but it keeps crashing or I get an error.
